clan and admin privilege password

Maybe a good idea for admin. But if members had a password, it might spread around KaW pretty easily. You could end up with a load of random statless alts filling up your clan roster.

 

Could cause just as many problems as it could help

 

nah somebody could get in and change your password and then screw the whole clan

 

People would just get the code, tell it to their friends and ruin the clan.

 

Perfect reason to why this idea would be bad.

There's actually a ton of bad reasons to this idea mate; sorry

Password being spread around
Random new admins you don't even know
A constantly full roster of statless noobs
Never knowing who you can actually trust

There's a lot, but it's a decent starting place, it just needs refining.

 

Only owner should be allowed to change it?

 

I like this idea tho, or owner could make an "access" code which is basically the something and can be used when join requests are disabled.

First of all love the high quality second all it takes is someone to tell a person the password and the whole clan are admins

Decent clans do have most of their roster as admins. Shows its a bunch of ppl that all trust each other.

What would be nice would be if there was an owner created list of approved admins so you instantly get admined on re-entry to a clan. So many other issues before this is anything like a priority of course.

 

Something more suitable, would be a pass system. An admin could grant someone a pass, much like the current wall post system made by players.
Yet an official in game option.

However this wouldn't be implemented as it's not suitable for kaws structure and design. But it's better than this highly exploitable password system.

Admin or owner views roster, finds the player they want to give the pass to; hits the "pass" button and receives a short code made of numbers and letters. Admin then private messages the code to said player and they can use the code to enter the clan without having to be approved ONE time only.

 

With his amount of posts, I think he should have done a better job.
