Christmas is Coming Around the Corner A little back story on this thread and the reason behind it, if you don't care about me life, YOU HEARTLESS PERSON, just kidding I love you all, even you, hater. Writing hate as we speak, or read maybe even type on our keypads. Skip the next 4 paragraphs to get to the point of the thread. Boring Backstory While stuck in traffic early today pondering how boring life is with nothing to do other than stare at the car next to me, I noticed that the radio presenters, on the station I was listening to, was arguing if or not to play christmas songs. Even though it's the 28th and not even December yet, so naturally I get a little interested with absolutely nothing else to do I listened in. Eventually the typical male who apposed the idea of playing christmas songs gave into the female, and eventually played triple H's theme tune The Game :P very christmassy. Anyways after playing on the around station, the song Fairytale of New York by the Poguse was played followed by some crappy new christmas songs which oddly are rip offs or not even christmas related... Don't you think Shane MacGowan has the best teeth going? Everyone needs beautiful teeth like that. Point of the Thread But the whole point is, when would you say it's time to get the christmas spirt? Shops start the christmas themes straight after Halloween, and I'm not making this up, but while trick or treating someone already had the christmas lights up. Meh, may as well get them out the way. It's traditionally meant to be 12 days before christmas and 12 days after, for the lights glitter and sparkly things with blown up Santa in the front of every house, expect the grinch's house, aka clumsy reaper. I love christmas since it's the only time of the year where I can build a full life size replica of me using all the surrounding snow, but really I love the family get together the most. But it all seems to early for me to even start thinking about singing badly to Slade - Merry Christmas Everyone. That's just a typically mad woifie though. So what's your thoughts about all this, when do you get the spirt of Christmas. Ps. I am the unchallenged king of Christmas light spotting Pss. Ponies
This sounds too greedy but last year iTunes opened up an app called "12 days of gifts" basically it gives you gifts for 12 days. It be nice if devs did that for us the first day gives you crap then the last day gives you something wonderful

It is. In going to pretend OP forget a "t" at the end to make "Psst." Anyways, my mom is having me help her set up lights on the roof this year, which is a first, ever, tomorrow morning. I'd say around the start of the month is a nice time to start getting it set up. After all, Rome wasn't built in a day.
Christmas decorations go up way too early. Acceptable decorating time: Put up: Dec. 23 Take down: Dec. 27 Anything before or after then drives me crazy!
Well, it's December 1. Thanksgiving is over. This is the day where I believe Christmas spirit should START. Regardless of how the Christmas commercials began a month ago. For a parent such as myself...this is when we start the extreme budget crunch. Santa Clause puts a huge dent in the savings account. But it's worth it. Kids get happy, and throw a fit.
