Character Ideas: The Taylors

I am working on a new story, it is coming along alright so far, but I thought it would be good to get a different take on some of the charaters from the point of view of you very talented writers out there.
So in my story there are two main families the Bates and the Taylors.
I thought that maybe fanfic writers out there could help me come up with bios for the Taylors.

The story is set in around about the Victorian period, the Taylors are a wealthy family but Katherine Bates is not aloud to see Master Daniel Taylor.

Background: Daniel Taylor lives in a Victorian mansion with his family and is always busy with things. Ever since he was able to write Daniel started to write things.
Why Katherine cannot see him:
Katherine's sister has just died and so
She must avoid contact with Daniel. Katherine's mother and father are unsure wether or not to let Katherine continue being around Daniel.
