Dedicated to the clan KOTFE in KAW Here is my second chapter. Really hope you like it though I still don't have a title.... Any recommendations for the title would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Chapter 2: When we finally got to where they said they would be, we heard the sound metal being crushed. It was an agonizing sound and I immediately started running towards it, dragging Jay behind me. It was clear Jay didn't want to just burst around the corner like I planned. So he grabbed me and made sure I couldn't move past the corner while he looked around a bit the investigate. The aliens were just about to shoot one of the new bees to KOTFE. I hadn't learned their name yet, but I didn't have to know them to save them. Just then we saw Kacie clinging to a metal beam above their heads at least 50 feet up. As soon as Jay and I saw Kacie he knew he should let me go. I yanked my weapon off my shoulder and didnt even need to use the scope to shoot both the aliens in the head and kill them. Jay ran to get the new bee and scout the place. I stayed behind to help Kacie. She was slowly losing her grip on the beam and as soon as she saw me she yelled,"Rose help me! I'm slipping! I can't hold on much longer!" She started frantically clinging to the beam in hopes of her sweaty hands to not slip. I looked around and I saw a few mattresses in a corner, they were covered with dirt and bugs. They were still enough to break Kacies fall and save her though. I ran right over and grabbed them, throwing them as close under Kacie as possible. By the time I had moved them all bugs were crawling all over me. But I didn't care, I just wanted Kacie safe and back on the ground. I shouted up to Kacie in an urgent rush,"Kacie! Jump! You'll be fine, just JUMP!" Kacie saw the mattresses underneath her and jumped. She bounced a few times and almost fell off but managed to ignore the bugs climbing all over her. She had an urgent look on her face as she said,"We were wrong... This area is filled with them... We need to move somewhere else! There's no way we can manage a civilization here! There's too many, and looking around, right in the heart of the city. There's a mothership. That's where their all coming from!" I starred at her absolutely stunned. I almost couldn't move, my brain wouldn't function. I kept telling my self it was all a dream until Kacie started shaking me thinking something went wrong. Just then Jay came around the corner looking very pleased with himself. "Look what I found!" he said unrolling a blanket to reveal a little kitty. "Oh, and I almost forgot! That giant ship in the city? I blew part of it up!" Kacie and I just starred at him, thinking he was kidding we started a weak laugh. "We know you wouldn't do that Jay" I said, then being unsure I added,"Right?" He looked at me as if I had lost my mind. "Why wouldn't I do it, it was filled with aliens!" He replied. I started to go black and I couldn't see straight. Next thing I knew Jay was dragging me behind him to get me back to base. I couldn't feel anything, I couldn't say anything. My body didn't know what to do. We got back to base and Kacie started telling them everything. I stood motionless the whole time, not knowing what to do, then I let the black swallow me whole. Next thing I knew I was being slapped by Greenie trying to wake me up, but I was also drenched in cold water. Then I noted that Maz was holding a bucket that looked like it HAD water in it. When they realized I had woken up, Maz helped me get up. As soon as I got up Greenie started yelling at me for disobeying her orders. Xevu then rounded the corner and I ran behind him away from Greenie. I walked into the armory to get anything I needed or might need. As I was walking in I noticed Cyrus and Jay talking about bombs and explosives. I just giggled and walked past. Jay looked at me like 'stop giggling' which just made me laugh more. Eventually I walked out because I was laughing to much and Jay was getting really mad at me. Then I saw the kitty that he had found snuggled in a bed of fresh blankets. It made me think of my dogs. How much I missed them and everything. I started petting the kitty and before I knew it he was purring up a storm of joy. The kitty really needed a bath, but the would be fixed later by the rain that was coming. Just then Jay came out looking very excited, he also had about 5 pounds of explosives in his hands, and probably even more in his backpack. He came over, completely ignoring me and snatched the cat. Then he walked away as if I wasn't even there. I was quite puzzled by what I had done but I let it slide as I saw Uki coming. "Kacie needs our help preparing for the storm" She said, extending a hand for me. I grabbed her hand and got up while saying,"We better hurry, the storm is coming fast." As soon as we got to Kacie she looked like she was going crazy! Apparently the storm was gonna be really bad. We immediately took action and started helping Kacie. When everything was secure and everyone was in some sheltered area. The rain came, it was perfect timing. About five minutes into the storm, Jay yelled,"Where's Fredrick!" All of the people in the room including me, just stared at him. Finally one of the leaders, Watson spoke out and said,"Who the hell is Fredrick?" Some of us started laughing at that, but Jay replied,"He's my cat! I have to go find him!" Jay tried to make a run for the door but Greenie stood like a brick wall in his path. "Your not going anywhere, I'm not going to allow you to just run off. There could be anything out there, and I don't want anyone being killed!" Jay shrunk back and went to a corner to go sulk. Greenie had then moved to go talk more to Jay. With the road block gone and no one watching me besides Uki. I looked at her and we quietly slipped out the door. "Where would a cat even hide in a place like this?!" I shouted to Uki struggling with the noise of the storm. Uki faintly shrugged not knowing what to say. We searched all over the place, and came to a shed with the door open on the outskirts of our little 'village'. The shed looked like it would fall over at any second. It was old and worn out, not much use for anything. I went in and Uki stayed guard outside. At first I didn't see anything, then in the corner, I saw what looked like a shivering blanket. I peeled off the blanket and saw Jays cat. Which I guess he called Fredrick now. He was shivering in fear, you could see it in his deep but blank eyes. I picked him up carefully and covered him in the blanket yelling to Uki at the same time,"Uki I found him! Start heading back!" I just started running. Trying to see where I was going as the rain stung my eyes and soaked into me. Uki and I were just coming up on the place where everyone was gathered when we saw Greenie starring at us through the doorway. It was obvious she was pissed. We blasted through the door, past Greenie and right to Jay. We were soaked and dripping on the floor but until I gave Jay his cat, I didn't really care. I set the shivering blanket right in front of Jay and he unraveled it to reveal a little fur ball. He looked up and just said,"Thank you" Then I walked away. I didn't want to be caught in an emotional conversation while I was drenched. So I grabbed Uki by the arm and we went to go dry off. Hope you like it! Soon I'll post the third chapter if you like it
Just a request: please post all your chapters on one thread. Not only does it make things easier on the readers, but it also allows other's stories to be seen as well as yours. It's not fair to everyone else if your chapters take up half of page one. Thanks! Good job btw and keep writing! -Princess Pim
It's good and all, but one thing. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT make a separate thread for EACH CHAPTER. you might wanna read Revolution for an example
HOLD ON. You created two threads, one for each chapter? That is one of the seven deadly writing sins. Have you heard of the return button? It allows you to skip entire lines! It's crucial in Fan Fiction stories as it provides a better reading experience. You'd do well to read the following masterpieces: A Raven Among the Doves Atlantric: Unknown School Drama: Book One Kingdoms At War Chronicles, Book One: Siege of the World Revolution (You won't get a lot from this because cheese always writes short chapters and stories. It's not nearly enough substance for a reader.) Any other OoW recommended material. (Oligarchy of Writing)
Re: Chapter 3 of unnamed book Chapter 3: When we were finally dry we got an earful from Greenie. I swear by the end I think she lost her voice. A lot of people watched as she yelled at us, some thought it was funny, but most just ignored it since they weren't involved. No one wanted to mess with Greenie, it wasn't that they were scared but she had quite a bit of power and didn't want her to use it against them. She was nice when people were obeying her, but I didn't know much about her to tell you anything else. Plus if I had been scarred of her I would be following what she was saying, which I wasn't. There were lots of people in KOTFE, each doing there individual part, following their own rules according to what quadrant they were in. For example, I am in FEA, and follow... Well most of FEA's rules. I'm just waiting for the day that I would be up there, in the big leagues, making some decisions. I thought about that and what it would be like as Greenie was yelling at us. Though it didn't take her long to realize I wasn't listening. She eventually gave up and walked away, her voice depleted. Though it seemed like we were the only ones out there, there were other clans wanting what we had. I had some things to talk about with Kacie, we had determined that there was a spy among us. We had suspicions on who it was and were keeping a watchful eye on her. We didn't want anything bad to happen because of them. Not many people knew but we kept it confidential. The storm was soon done but it left some flooding around the grounds, and also leaving minimal damage to some of the buildings. Though when we went to check the damage, their were bullet holes in the buildings. We knew we needed to go somewhere else. This area was no longer safe, we were in danger at every turn. All the regular people like me and Uki and Jay had headed back to our houses to pack all of our things, while the leaders had a meeting. Uki hated carrying the ammo and guns we had, so I was going to carry them, and she was going to carry everything else in a backpack. Though it wasn't fair that I had two backpacks that weighed at least 4 times as much I really didn't bother arguing because I knew Uki would win. It was determined that we would all spread into our quadrants because it would make us all harder to target. Each getting a few leaders for guidance. One thing that made me mad about the whole thing was that I didn't know where we were going and none of the leaders would tell me. It wasn't fair, but it was the way KOTFE was. A few people would be exchanging with the leaders to be in the main group because they had risen up in the ranks. I was sad to see them go, but I couldn't do anything about it. One thing that I really hated was that I couldn't know anything that was important for KOTFE. We all gathered with our groups and set off. Greenie pulled me up in front of everybody to talk to me privately with Kacie. Since Cyrus had left for Main, I was now the explosives master. I also had to start training my replacement because I was pretty close to Main myself. I, at that second, raced to go find Jay. I knew he would want to take Cyruses spot, Jay was right in the middle of a conversation when I found him. It didn't sound to important so I grabbed his arm and started dragging through our group to the front. He had absolutely no idea what the hell I was doing, but knowing me, he kept quiet and followed me. But with the expression on his face he looked like he was just hoping he wouldn't trip and fall on his face. When I finally stopped he sighed with relief. But then he saw Greenie and Kacie and asked,"What did I do now?" Kacie shook her head and Greenie laughed a bit. "Jay you didn't do anything, your fine, just talk with Kacie and Greenie." I said. More relief showered his face as they started talking about everything. He accepted right away, it was an offer he said that he could not refuse. Jay and I stayed in the front talking about explosives and gun handling and many other things. From now on he and I had to work as a team, we couldn't ignore or not talk to each other anymore. I was already conditioned to start liking people I wasn't ok with. Me and Cyrus weren't on best terms when we first started either. Though Jay was going to have to get used to it. We finally reached a place that looked safe to camp out in for the night. Though we had been going for two days straight this was the first night we had had in what seemed like forever. Fatigue washed over me as Uki and I put our sleeping bags down on the cold floor. The place where we were staying was an old abandoned warehouse and was currently uninhabited by anything living. Everyone was exhausted and when Greenie said we all had to search the place and go find wood for a fire, everyone groaned in despair. Greenie was our leader and had authority to make us do this as she fell asleep. It was quite annoying, but I would have to agree that I would have done the same thing. It must have been nice having power. Just then I was snapped out of my daydream by the sound of hallow wood being dropped on the floor. Greenie; barely awake yelled,"Summer!" there was a little break as she started to lose consciousness,"Start the fire." After that she drifted back to sleep. It was understandable, she deserved more sleep than all of us. Though I eventually started the fire, even though the wood was just about soaked. I later yelled at the people who picked it out, which included Shock. I saw absolutely no surprise there, and thought in the back of my head; he probably did that on purpose just to piss me off. Though I didn't let it bother me that much. Which I knew, showed him that he wasn't going to get the triumph he wanted. The whole two days had been a blur. Tons of scenery to look at and catalog in my head. Though there wasn't much to say the whole way here. A few of the new bees had invented a game of every five minutes asking Greenie,'Are we there yet?' It wore on Greenie after a while but she couldn't be bothered by them. We all knew that, though I quickly ended the game soon after Greenie, who was clutching a stick at the time, snapped it in her hand. There was a large crunching noise and the I pulled out my dagger, yelling at them to shut up and say no more. They did continue, so I took out my dagger and made a thin gash in the side of one of their arms. That shut them right up. When people aren't listening to you, use force, it's the only way you'll get into their thick skulls. Greenie had said that to me one time, I full heartedly agreed with her and still do agree with her. As soon as we had all, somewhat, eaten, a lot of us crashed. But me, being the stupid person I am, volunteered to be on graveyard shift for a few hours and then get some sleep. It was me, Jay, Shock, and some other new bees. Jay and Shock did most of the foot work as I helped the new bees with getting their strengths stronger. The time past quickly, but they learned a lot. When it was finally time for us to get to bed we all hurried there, eager to finally get some rest. I had a dream that night. There was a lot of the leaders of KOTFE there and they were all starring at something. Some giant huge thing in the sky. None of them moving, as it slowly crept closer, hanging in the sky like it was held by wires from above. I couldn't make out anything from it, as I looked around the picture I saw peoples mouths moving but I didn't hear anything. Even as someone opened fire on us, I heard nothing. But it was as if I wasn't there, no one looked at me or anything, and when they shot in my direction, I didn't feel anything. Nothing, absolutely nothing, then a voice came out of the silence. "They are coming" It said, I quickly yelled back,"Who is coming?" After several seconds, there was no reply. I kept yelling, hoping, just hoping it would answer. Then everything went black and I was awake sitting up on the ground. Shock was awake sitting in the corner of the room looking at me with an expression equal to, 'What the hell is your problem now?' I faintly ignored him and went back to lying down, I didn't go back to bed. I just starred at the ceiling, looking at every angle of it, capturing the architecture in my mind. Raveling it and unraveling it. Imagining who worked here before this tragedy happened, what families they had, where they lived, what their dreams were. It was crazy for me to be thinking about that at a time like this but, thats just how I am. In the morning we headed off, apparently we would be meeting another group. I wasn't exactly thrilled but, it would be nice to have more people sometimes. As we were walking, I heard some people debate about killing themselves, I couldn't believe what I had heard when they said it! But the fate of a person lies in their own hands. There wasn't anything else that was special besides the scenery. Also I had traveled to a lot of places and as I looked at the rusty metal; the crumbling architecture; peoples innocent body's laying on the ground as they had been cast off. It wasn't a nice sight, but it's the way the world had come to. There was no way to stop it, and no way to start something else. We finally had reached the place where we would merge with the other quadrant. There was nothing special about them, I didn't know any of them. Then again I really didn't need to know everyone at this point in time. Later it would sure come in handy though, so I started faintly mixing, staying at the outer edges like most of my quadrant. Though I later picked up quite an interesting conversation on weapons with someone who's name I didn't catch. That conversation abruptly stopped as we encountered some problems that needed my expertise. Yet again Jay was absolutely thrilled to make the fireworks this time. But everyone got to see it, not just a few like last time. They all got to see the brilliant flashes that meant both beauty and death. Then we all continued to our next 'checkpoint', as Greenie had called it. I had hoped our next checkpoint would be the end of this long journey, but of course, it wasn't. Greenie had told me we had at least another week of walking till we got to our final destination.
I just skimmed it so I can't tell you much about the content but one thing you really need is to use the return/enter key. It's really hard to read a huge block of writing with a space every once in awhile. You don't need to have a space, just hit the enter/return key once. I recommend doing it for conversations like this: For example: "Hi Ella!" Rose yelled across the school yard. "Rose! How are you?" I asked as I ran towards my best friend. "Not bad, got in a bit of a problem yesterday though." Rose answered. "Really? What happened?" I was curious. Suddenly the bell rung. Rose waved good bye and ran off to the west building while I walked off to my first class in the east building. And so on like that.
4th chapter of unnamed book Chapter 4: There was absolutely nothing exciting that happened to getting to our next check point. Though we did run into a few other clans that were in need of a lot of help, they eventually agreed to join forces. We were all exhausted as we had finally reached the check point. The leaders could barely stand up. They not only had to take care of themselves but the whole clan too. Our check point was a few houses that were abandoned, they weren't completely destroyed but they were of use to us. They looked better than the places we had been staying previous times we stopped. We immediately set up and figured out who was where. The leaders would get one house and the other important people would stay in another house. The other clans would figure out where they were staying and lastly our not very important people would be in another. There were various stores and useful places that we absolutely needed to go through. Jay, Uki, Kacie, and I were picked to go in the first group to explore the stores to the north. It was fairly simple what we were doing, but quite hard at the same time. Under strict orders we had to grab everything that could be to our use to us. We were told to go right away, as we didn't want any interference from the night. As we started walking I began to realize that first of all, there was still faint signs of graffiti on walls on buildings. But second of all, that most of the architecture wasn't crumbling or hadn't even looked like it had been touched. We were just rounding a corner when we heard a noise of pain. It was definitely from a human, but it wasn't like any cry of pain that I'd heard. I had guessed on the pain as I tried to explain the noise to even myself. I ran to where the sound was coming from and looked around the corner of a building. There was what used to be a fence there, but it was now covered with both rust and foliage. So I slowly walked up to the fence, peeking through the foliage looking at a scene I never thought I would see. There was blood everywhere and there were two men fighting off this; creature. It looked as if from another world, I wouldn't doubt if it was one of the aliens come to take over this world. It was huge, bigger than the two men fighting it put together. One of the men was crouching on the ground trying to make one of his many wounds stop bleeding. The extraordinary thing was he got up as he was gushing blood and caught the alien by surprise. Then landing the killing blow as the alien fell from it's stance making a huge crash into the pavement. I hadn't noticed it at first but Jay had walked up behind me and watched the whole thing. Jay blasted around the corner as soon as the alien was finished and started asking a billion questions about how they had done it. I ran after him as soon as I noticed that he was there and before he could get any more out I slapped my hand over his mouth. I looked at the men and noticed that one of them had completely red eyes. Making him look like he was possessed. As soon as Jay was shut up he looked quite infuriated by us. He reached down to his side and pulled out a broad sword, getting a firm grip on it and starting to walk towards us. Just then Kacie came around the corner yelling,"Jay, Rose, where are..." Her sentence faded into the wind as she saw the men. As if he hadn't been paying any attention to what the other man was doing. The man without the sword had a sudden wave of panic cross his face as he looked at the other man. The panic was gone as soon as it had appeared, as he raced to the other man to stop him from getting any closer to us. Of all things that could have been important at the time. I had remembered that I still had my hand over Jays mouth and quickly put it back to my side. Quietly whispering a small,"Sorry" In his direction. Jay took a second to tear his eyes from the men and just glanced at me and then went back to watching the men. I looked at Jay and saw that absolutely no emotion was in his vacant face or eyes as well as Kacie. We were all silent, just looking at each other, none coming up with anything to say. When I finally thought the silence was draining our lives away. I stepped forward in front of Jay saying,"Excuse us for barging in. But, who are you two?" The man without the sword slowly worded his sentences as he said,"I am Jack, and this is Monk. Do not mess with Monk." We all just stared at him. All being speechless, then Kacie said,"What clan are you tw..... I mean what clan are you and... Monk part of?" Kacie didn't look focused, she just wanted to get out of there is what it looked like. She had slowly inched towards us and was just about to grab our arms when Monk said,"Don't leave, we will come with you." I tried to stay as cool as possible and said casually,"We are called KOTFE, please follow us and you may talk to our leaders and such." I tried to look as distracted as possible and looked around randomly, waiting and hoping for Kacie to take the lead. Of course, she didn't, Jay did. Saying to them,"Please, follow us." Then he started walking away towards base as he dragged me and Kacie behind him, then eventually putting us in front. I didn't have to look at Kacie to guess what Greenie was going to say. When we finally arrived at base, Greenie was there waiting for us. She saw us come around the corner empty handed and looked mad. Then she saw Jack and Monk, she looked at them like they were monsters. A flash of horror crossed her face and quickly disappeared as she called for some other leaders. We quickly came up to her and told her what happened. She looked empty of emotions, but of course Greenie was good at hiding her emotions. Her head must have been reeling by this time. Just then I shot up and probably looked like an idiot; eyes wide open, face full of shock, and every bone in my body screaming. I finally said,"Wheres Uki!" As soon as I said that everyone looked around and a few people on the edges scattered to go find her. Greenie looked disapprovingly at me and Jay as if it was all our fault. Greenie, the leaders, Jack, Monk, Jay, and I all went into a isolated room in one of the houses. We all had a tense discussion about everything that had to do with Jack and Monk. It was horrid, Greenie and other leaders were absolutely pissed that intruders, as they called them, had come into KOTFE. When it was done Monk made a move for the door and Greenie jumped right in front, blocking his path. Then she said,"You two are not going anywhere!" She looked like she was about to explode with anger. Monk just looked at her, amused that she would say such a thing. Then replied reaching his sword at the same time,"You can't tell me what to do woman." Sliding his sword out making the loudest sound possible, Greenie suddenly looked scared. She slowly backed away and went to hide behind Death. I could see the amusement on Deaths face as this happened. As soon as Greenie was behind him he walked forward towards Monk, following him out the door. Then engaging in a conversation just close enough to barely hear. Greenie had been since in the open, and went to go talk to Traj, one of the main leaders in our quadrant. We were all shooed from the room as their conversation started. I ended up grabbing a notebook and a pen and did as Greenie directed. Attendance check, as she called it. One of the people who I had been close to, but never really though about had joined me in partly helping partly talking to me during this. I always called him Mare, he was, close, as you could say. Just with talking but not much else, he wasn't very active in everything that happened in here as far as I knew. But he was still part of KOTFE's huge family, as was everyone else. Everyone was close in KOTFE, like a distant family, and as soon as you joined. You were never lonely or left out.
Excellent writing Summer.. But I can't help but feel like you're trying to tell me something lol Can't wait to read more
chapter 5 Chapter 5: The conversation of Death and Monk had convinced Monk to stay. Despite his bitterness to being controlled by others, he slowly gave in. Though I think he gave in because his partner in crime had decided to join us almost as soon as we asked him about it. He sounded like he was desperate for other leadership and new rules, and most likely for the choice of new interaction. Though Monk wasn't fully admitted in because he had a serious injury with the gash on his side from the creature. It was also found out that Uki had slipped through the camp unnoticed by anyone. She was sitting on the grass by a little babbling brook with papers of poetry she had wrote all around her. Making a wall of impassible paper, the only way to get through was to step on them. Though as soon as we showed Greenie that Uki was alive and well she was less irritated with us for leaving her behind. From talking to Monk we had all asked him about what happened to him. When he got mad, his eyes got blood red and like I beckoning light spreading out. You couldn't escape it's beams, many of us had tried but it filled you with fear. Whether or not if you were scared of him. Which is why hardly anyone messed with him, Jack was the only one who could do anything with Monk and escape the beams. Monk also hardly talked, he probably didn't need to, but Jack did all of the talking. The one time Monk really talked was when he was arguing with Greenie. It was crazy how those two went at it, the fights and arguments would last for hours on end. As soon as fight 45, round 12 of Greenie verses Monk was finished, it was made a main point that we needed to go back to the buildings that Kacie, Jay, Uki, and I hadn't searched. So Death, Shock, and I had been chosen to go. Partly because Monk was coming with us and partly for the search. Somehow Greenie thought that if needed we could seduce him. Apparently Greenie thought we could, but I knew better than to argue with her at this point, and I didn't want to seem weak. As we walked down the street we each split up into some of the decaying buildings as Monk continued somewhere else. We didn't quite know what he was going to bring back, but we knew better than to ask. Monk most likely wouldn't answer but then again no one really wanted to know either. I thought a lot about this as I walked into the building I was supposed to search. There were holes in the ceiling and floor every couple feet. Though it didn't look like any creatures had touched this place. A fine layer of about three inches of dust covered every surface making me wish I had picked the other building. But then, I didn't think it was so bad, there was nothing that would be useful to the clan in here. Then again, that didn't mean that there wasn't something useful to me in here. I had finally concluded that this was a music store. When I saw a flute on a counter, I could help myself. I leaped towards it dusting it gently and looking at the maker. Then I carefully opened the case, as if it held my future. Music was so important to me, without music I wouldn't be able to live. That is a true fact, besides everything else in my life that would always stay true. I carefully picked up the flute out of the case and looked at each individual piece. I thought it was absolutely beautiful, I hadn't seen such a nice flute in years, let alone gotten to hold it. I couldn't believe it, I needed to take it, there was absolutely no way I could leave it here. I quickly put it away as if it was fragile glass and then quickly shut the case. All the while opening my backpack and carefully inserting the case in. I didn't leave quite yet, I did want to look around before I went anywhere. Then I saw quite a nice guitar, I had always wanted to play. Never had the time for a second instrument though. Now was my chance, we always had plenty of time to spare, I could learn. I quickly walked over trying to avoid the gaping holes in the floor and grabbed the guitar and one pick. Then coming back towards the entrance I saw a whole shelf of books, I walked over and looked through the titles finding music for both instruments. Leaving I saw some spray paint bottles strewn all around the floor in one corner. I thought about it blankly and then looked out the shattered front window. To many normal people it would look like a giant blank wall, but to me it looked like a canvas. I grabbed to paint bottles and immediately got to work. Carefully making out the KOTFE symbol and a rose off to the side. The rose was just a special touch making it my work of art. After stepping back and making sure it didn't look bad, I suddenly noticed that Monk, Death, and Shock had left me behind. Though I quite enjoyed it, I had always felt I was being 'babysat' by the leaders. Though at this moment, I was as free as a bird. Enjoying every minute and slowly working my way back to base. Casually walking down the streets and looking at one of my books. Walking up I noticed that there were quite a few leaders gathered in a group talking. As I walked up though, and one of them saw me, they realized I hadn't been watched and was on my own. Though I really didn't care and quietly slipped into the back of camp by the brook. It was night by the time I got back, and the moon was just getting itself situated in the air above me. The moon was big and bright, a nice full moon for sure. Just light enough to be able to see my book. I set it on he ground in front of me and sat on the edge of a rock, pulling out the guitar at the same time. I then started playing, making a lot of mistakes and eventually, about a half hour in, I snapped the pick by accident. Though after a few hours of strumming and looking at notes, I could play a few melodies. It must have been hours before someone found me, but I never kept track of time. Uki popped out from inside the bushes behind me just as I was finishing a song. She came around to face me saying,"Greenie was looking for you, your supposed to be in bed she said." Well that was fantastic, now I have a bed time. Is there anything more that can be forced upon me at the moment? Knowing I didn't have anything to argue with with Uki, I gathered my things and headed to where we stayed. Falling asleep quite easily, to my annoyance. I woke up early the next morning, it was just before dawn. Yesterday Greenie had been complaining about the lack of transportation vehicles we had. Which was none, we didn't have any, nobody really knew how to fix a car or anything. Though there would be a lot of scouts put today trying to find a working one. Anything to satisfy Greenie was a must today. I walked out of the house I was staying in and quietly jogged to the edge of camp. Trying to avoid anyone that would stop me, but mostly anyone period. I walked down the street heading towards a store that still had available tools and such things. Grabbing the most likely tools I would need I put them in backpack heading up and down the aisles. Afterwards heading out the door and going towards the nearest, what used to be, a car dealership where they also fixed cars. Walking into the building it was quite ghostly, the animals had taken over in most areas and plants had gotten through in some places. I really didn't understand why there were perfectly good cars here. They were covered in dust and all the had were flat tires! It was stupid. Unless no one has been here since the creatures took over. I puzzled this for a moment looking at what car I should take. After I got bored of being puzzled over other peoples stupidity, I picked a large truck. All of the tires needed to be replaced, simple thing to do. I went across the whole floor looking for everything I needed. Coming back and quickly propping the truck up, I changed all of the tires. It only took me about an hour, but it was about the second time I had done it on my own. Finally that all was done I got in and slowly drove it to base. As I didn't have my drivers license yet and had not really driven a car. Especially stick shift. As I came closer to base and parked right in front. Hoping I hadn't done anything wrong with driving. People just stared at me as I got out, they seemed astounded that I had found a working car. Though I knew I would never convince them that I had fixed it, even with the proof literally all over me. As working on a car was not the most clean job to ever be done. When I told Greenie and some of the other leaders, they didn't believe me. Though I was completely fine with just taking credit for finding it. With a now working vehicle we gathered all of the heavy gear and put it in the truck. Any left over space was to be used for food, water, and once and a while for a leader that needed to rest badly. The final destination was near, I could feel it. But I could also feel, a lot of regret as we left, this place was a safe haven. Though we were leaving it. Almost nothing about KOTFE was the same being split up. Though we had more recruits and people, it would be different even if we didn't have them. But this crazy absolutely messed up world was not yet done messing with us. I know it took me a bit of time to get this done, but I had to retype it after it deleted itself the first time I typed it . But now it's done ! Hope you like it awesome people!
