Changes to War Rewards

  1. Due to recent feedback about the way Estoc's Edge works in regards to wars and players who perform zero actions we wanted to take another look at the current implementation of this system, and evaluate if it still makes sense with the newly introduced individual wars.

The way the system currently works (and has worked since the conception of Estoc's Edge) is that those on winning and losing sides who perform zero actions are not eligible for rewards. This includes both actual rewards such as Mithril, as well as the Estoc's Edge spells.

In the case of the winning side, this makes sense as it prevents people from going inactive and earning rewards.

In the case of the losing side, the goal was that those who went inactive would not have their Estoc's Edge timer extended (though it also wouldn't have it's level affected). Because of this, some players have taken to the trend of not performing any actions until they're 100% certain if their side is going to win.

As of tomorrow, we're implementing a change to this system moving forward that should prevent this.

Now, when your team loses, even if you've performed 0 actions, your Estoc's Edge level will now decrease. That means that you'll need to actually get out there and fight your hardest, even when things look difficult. Who knows, you may just win!

Note: The only exception to this, is if you are 100% DTW/DTS

  2. As of tomorrow! Sweet I can still be inactive this war. thanks devs

  3. Just kidding. Support.

This change was needed. Well done.

  4. 0 actions and inactivity should result in all EE levels lost

  5. But but but.... I was gonna use this to never war again!

    Thanks a lot whiners

  6. @kaw_community,
I got lvl 3 tsg bonus when I should get lvl 4 plz check this out

  7. I agree with Val. Will stop people from casting if they are skeptical about being able to war.

**** happens, but if it's that bad then losing your EE levels is a small price to pay.

  8. Devin

Let me play you a song in the worlds smallest violin.

  9. Great. Now the big trolls won't get to keep their EE.

  10. About time devs, now bring in force banning accounts that cast to war, but go inactive, as I know will get fair support for this inactive issue with hand full off accounts.

  11. How about banning lb that sell/buy accounts?

    No?
    K

  12. Support to them loosing more for being inactive. Like loosing mithril and loosing all EE as stated above.

  13. Why do you even make someone 100%dtw/dts, do you think it's fair?

  14. I don't think they strive for it.

  15. @Kaw_Community

What about the large leaderboard players that use their size as an exploit to renew their EE?

These players all purposely get together, and sign up for a war with the intention of getting no match. Due to the extreme size of the clan, there is no way they can match someone.

The EE they are renewing is from wars very long ago. They are not warriors and are undeserving.

    Hope you reply :)

  16. You won't get an answer to this for K_C. If you did it would be something like this "The top 50 is responsible for 50% of KAW Revenue, so we don't want to piss then off".
