First, you need the Level 2 Castle upgrade. Then you unlock the Alchemist. You get mithril by winning system wars or it is sold by the devs. You can use mithril to cast a wide variety of spells.
It's in the marketplace under the alchemist. But u first have to upgrade your castle to lvl2. If your castle is not lvl2 then unfortunately u can't visit the alchemist
