Calculating Profit in 2 Steps

Discussion in 'Strategy' started by KI-Germanicus-KI, Feb 22, 2013.

  1. Here's how to calculate your profit on selling an ally in 2 steps.

    Step One: Obtain a Calculator
The Richer you are, the more digits it should be able to hold... Mine is 104 digits :D

Step Two: Do the Following Calculation:

    0.0158 x SALE PRICE = PROFIT MADE

    Another example:

My ally sells at exactly 3 billion. Here is the profit I made:
    0.0158 x 3,000,000,000 = 47,400,000

If there are any mistakes I will edit as soon as I have access to a computer. I hope you find this helpful. :)

  2. I don't get any of this....

  3. Or you could just let the ally sell and it tells you...

Not sure if the thread was really needed...

  4. Well incase youre wondering how much you would potentially profit selling an ally you dont have this thread serves puporse ^

  5. Actually it's 1.58% of the purchase price. When you buy an ally it's price jumps 5%. Your profit is tied up in that 5%. Technically you would have to take your ally price divide by 105 x 100 x 0.0158 for an accurate result. If you are a good trader you can guesstimate though. Or remember it's around 1b profit for 67b of allies sold

  6. Look at snorey being a smart arse ;)
