  1. Question here:

    What is the benefit of using hatcheries over colonies? Also is there any reason what so ever that you should place defense towers to compensate for your loss in defense from building hatcheries? I have researched this question a good bit but would like direct feedback.

  3. But colonies give more stats than gardens and more attack obviously. Im not sure how well a garden build would perform offensively.
     
  4. Only benefit that t5 attack building has over the t5 balance build is that we'll it has more attack...The attack build has the least cs given and the fastest plunder drop when unloading.
     
  5. So would it be best to put colonies for tier 5's?
     
  6. And no I would say never put defense towers ....In my opinion might as well put gardens to make up the difference.

  8. I like towers lol great to comp for low bfa/bfe and i would rather not put a defense building but i will start putting up colonies now, thank for the help :)

  10. Colonies give extra hits from a full bar. Hatcheries have better plunder(not by a lot). Defensive towers gave a static defense, meaning that as your being hit, the strength of the tower remains. Hatcheries only offer a defense that changes with your troops, meaning it gets weaker and weaker as you're losing troops.
     
  11. Sorry, the other way around. Hatcheries have worse plunder.
     
  12. That whole 2 extra hit thing doesn't matter too much ever since i realized that you only need one balanced building and the rest can be anything but you still gain 2 extra hits, but the other stuff is helpful lol

I wouldn't go hatcheries on a main account since you should be expecting the majority of your inc there, but for an alt it's a great idea, they can be small but still have a decent attack, and defense doesn't matter as much. I recommend going colonies or gardens, as the extra plunder from gardens will end result in billions if you plan on playing for a while, and colonies just have great stats. It also sucks to be targeted because you have a build with low defense.
     
  14. Thats why i asked if compensating the attack loss with static defense from tower was any good, but i changed my mind and will start putting down colonies and eventually switch my lowlands for coe

  17. To be honest gardens give a 5% better plunder than the other two
    Also don't waste gold on troop towers unless you building a turtle build you just losing plunder pair a hit on eb/player
     
  18. I build colonies for stats and gardens for plunder and hatcheries to compensate for lost attack stats from gardens.
     
  19. Gac, mixing defensive troop buildings and attack troop buildings isn't good. It's better to go with more balanced troop buildings.
