Building Up Static Spy Defense

  1. So you want to build up your SSD...but should you do it on the highlands or the lowlands?
    A lot of EE War Clans now want you to have a minimum of 1.5 mil Static Spy Defense. To do this on:

    Lowlands: Requires 15 lvl3 Spy Defense Fortresses at a total cost of $203 bil to give you 1,461,600 static spy defense.

    Highlands: Requires 6 lvl3 Changeling Watchtowers at a total cost of $1,050 bil to give you 1,446,984 static spy defense.

    But "Ho ho!" you may say, "That's tearing down my FIFTEEN Circle of Elements in the lowlands, where I use up less lands in the Highlands!"

    Consider if you had to tear down 15 CoEs...that's combined stats of 2,902,320 you're sacrificing for the sake of those spy defense towers. Compare that to those 6 highland Colonies (which, if you're HLBC, cost you 1,050 bil) - their combined stats are 2,873,976 - only a 1% difference from those 15 CoEs.


    Soooooooo...bottom line: If you are considering adjusting your build in any way whatsoever, do NOT mess around with your highlands unless you just can NOT get the stats you want. It's wayyyy to expensive by a factor of 5. Save yourself a little money and use your lowlands for your playground.

  9. This is TERRIBLE advice. But listen to the GH with no towers and not much EE experience if you'd like.

  12. You said it takes 9 Watchtowers to make 1.5m SSD, but later said tear down 6 Colonies. Not sure if that messed up math or not.

  16. 9 watchtowers would give you 2,170,476 ssd.

  17. I'm not advising anyone to do it. But it is the current trend if you want to get into good EE war clans. Only advice I'd give is for anyone changing the build to do their own research. Be skeptical of everything.

  18. First of all, 6 HL towers are required to get approximately 1.5m static, NOT 9.

    And 15 COE'S give more plunder and 6 Colonies. MUCH more. But do whatever you want. As long as you are all satisfied with your war performances....

  19. Did you calculate plunder changes as well? And what about builds that don't use CoEs in the lowlands like a hansel. Give data abut SoS and vols too
