Building advice

  1. I was just after some advice, I'm still new and don't play much but have built up the following.

    x8 level 3 summoning circles
    x4 level 4 spy guilds
    x2 level 3 Beastery
    x3 level 3 forge
    x1 level 3 sub terrain factory
    x3 level 3 war cathedral
    x1 level 3 war aviry
    x2 level 3 lightning tower

    x3 level 1 titans lair
    x1 level 1 cursed foundry

    Probably not the best build but I've tried to just do what I feel is right for me and learn. I also know I have some tier 3 stuff that needs upgrading. So a few questions.

    1) Are the defensive towers worth it or not? Upgrade or lose?
    2) Do I need more spy guilds, I read somewhere they help your coin?
    3) Anything else that might help me?

    I'm not trying to be anything in particular expect to have fun but I have a more defensive setup as you can see. Any advice would be great.

  2. Ditch the defense towers, unless your going into strip wars.
     
  3. And the defense buildings are useless. I recommend hansel honestly.

  4. The towers probably aren't worth it now, you could use troop buildings on those lands to help you grow a little faster. Towers are good in a real war, though. It would probably be best to hold on to the towers til at least after the update, since pwars will be reduced.

    Guilds are great for increasing plunder from attacks and for beginner's spy stats, you could use a few more of them.
     
  5. It depends on how you want to play the game. It is, as you say, all about having fun.

    There is no right or wrong build. Defensive towers give you no plunder bonus but if you think you'll be in a situation where you'll need them they are priceless. I personally love them. During the all star war i was ranked at the bottom of the list. People were trying to play me from pin but because of my towers they were failing.

    Defensive buildings (coe/circle) are the highest plunder for their tiers so when you DO make a hit successfully it will pay better.

    Spies are important. You can look at them as either the plunder bonus that you gain from guilds or as a way to weaken your opponent. Again it is determined by your game play.

    I'm happy to discuss any points of building with you if you like but I would always recommend just experimenting. Don't be scared to rip a building down if it doesn't meet your plan. It's only a game after all!

  7. What's better for plunder in EBs, attack buildings or defence?
     
  8. So by building spy guilds u increase your max Allie plunder bonus with a regular attack?
