Bluejays guide to quick spy conversion! Disclaimer this guide is made for those whom have access to an open steal/state farm. Welcome one and all to "Bluejays guide to spy (mostly to do with conversion)!" this guide has been written by myself with some help from |__Knight__| and the wonderful Dev-Artemis. Please contact me if any details prove to be wrong (just post my wall) and if you like the guide or have any criticism just post on the thread itself. This guide is born in the hope of explaining to brand new players (or maybe clan owners or dedicated members whom wish to become an osf for the sake of their clan, the limits of a spy build but also the strengths. So not only will I explain how to convert I will also show a little to do with spy warfare but not a huge amount. please note no conversion is ever quick! But I hope to show you in my view the best and easiest way to convert to pure spy and what to do once converted. Questions on how can I become an osf? are often posted on my wall when I ask if anyone needs some answers. So this will also be a place to send these people to read in detail, as I do not always have time to explain in full. Starting off As we all know when we reset, or join the game, we have a castle and two other lands. One of these lands will hold a guild DO NOT SELL this whatever you are told! This guild will be your saviour at a later date (I will explain more in a second.) The other land has space for a workshop, stable or barracks choose anyone of these you will soon tear it down in place for a tier 2 building (forge, war cathedral and beastiery) Now that you have looked around the game and read thus far, it's time to POLITELY ask on world chat for a volley/hire and say that you will build "place tier 2 building name here", which you will (for those whom are resets reading this ask some friends.) DO NOT ASK MAJESTY!! he will block you and you may need him at some point (this is unrelated to the guide.) When the volley stops (volley is multiple hires to increase your price and give you money) talk to your owner and say you need a couple of hours before upgrading. Your volley should have given you around 60-70 million now use this to volley with other players (they must keep for you to make money) I suggest asking rich friends to do it as they will keep the ally. Do this up to the point where you have 300mil (million) or around that amount. you must keep yourself defender to weak do this by doing quests until you have 0 troops. Why do we do this? At your stage with around 300mil out you will be attacked hundreds of times. starting to build Now that we have 300mil and you are keeping yourself DTW (defender to weak) it's time to start building!!!!! Yay!!! I hear you cheer but it's not all fun and games. You must get this stage right otherwise all we will have worked for is in vain. What are we going to build? First we must take into account the pro's and con's of each build. The statistics shown here are of an account with 23 lands 22 of which contain lvl4 guilds: Forge build: Plunder: 75,602 Ally bonus: 10,119,717 Soldiers: 85 Beastiery: Plunder: 77,117 Ally bonus: 10,123,501 Soldiers: 83 War cathedrals: Plunder: 79,782 Ally bonus: 10,128,501 Soldiers: 85 Now it's your choice on which build to go but I myself recommend the Bestiery, as that is what I have used in the past. Now we get onto the building! I can see you've been itching to get something on your lands. So now it's time to build your beastiery (although it's the same basic idea for the other build too.) 1.Firstly tear down your tier 1 building and replace it with a bestiery upgraded to lvl3 do this with all of your lands up to land 16. 2.you should have around 60-70mil left. Now stop or a while and volley, hit an osf as much as you can to add to the amount, remembering to keep yourself DTW this time on the osf and quests. Also upgrade your guild to level 3. 3.When you have around 300 mil buy an ally repeat step 2 until you have 4bil in allies (you may think it's alot now but you won't later) this should keep you at max ally plunder for a while at least. Click this link it shows you how to test if your plunder is maxed: j3lackj3ird's guide to kaw read to section on ally plunder 4.Now it's the time we have been dreading we need to stock up on defence pots and spy defence pots we will be continually adding to this store but we can't always be on to keep ourselves DTW so we need to keep our money safe. You need around 30 of each pot. We will just re-fuel when it runs low. 5.When we have the potions we can get the new lands and build more Beastiery on them. 6.You should know by now how to make money (don't keep yourself DTW all the time because you have the pots) Buy the lands up to the 900,000,000. Remember to add another guild at level 3 at some point along with the beastierys. Now hold on it's time for a build change 7.Now we are at land 900,000,000 we can convert to a hansel build, all guilds except one war cathedral and one Beastiery. DO THIS GRADUALLY !! Slowly converting every Beastiery except one to lvl 3 guilds leaving space for your war cathedral. Hansel build gives you extra plunder due to the extra guilds. I insist staying out of wars while you are hansel build and only if ever join when you are a pure spy. 8.Now we get back to the ally buying and continue up until you have around 5-7bil in allies you can survive on less but I recommend this amount. 9.As our next land is the same price as upgrading your guilds to lvl 4 do the upgrading and when all your guilds are level 4 buy the 900,000,000 mil land and upgrade your guild to lvl 4 continue this to land complete. Land complete! Party time! Your finally land complete with your war cathedral and Beastiary still in place. But now it's time to say goodbye but before you do this save up enough gold to upgrade to 2 lvl4 guilds straight away. And guess what? your land complete, build complete Congratulations you have got thus far and are now an lcbc (land complete build complete) pure spy ready to head out into the world there are two ways in which you can go : •The osf •And the pure spy warrior the osf route Now as an osf you will supply gold to your clan or friends through them attacking you to take the gold which you put out. YOU MUST DROP YOUR ALLIES OR HAVE THEM HIRED AWAY. AND YOU MUST SELL ALL YOUR NON-SPY DEFENCE POTS. There are 2 ways to put out gold each go to suit a different situation: Spying for gold: This is for players whose clans are not full of members or whom support a few friends. You will make your gold by Spying for it as the name implies. A good place to spy is an OAF (open attack farm) a player whom has 0 spy def potions and puts out money for you (if you want some names wall me I will not post on here as some like to remain unknown) when you have this done, let the farming begin potion selling This is a technique which you have to prepare for (buy attack potions in vast quantities) but that is made to deal with vast amounts of people, I used this very technique when I was a world chat osf. When you want to open just sell a couple of pots to open yourself. pure spy warrior With a pure spy you need your allies and hundreds of all the def potions so that if an ally is hired away during war the gold cannot be taken from you. With no money out a pure spy stays DTW until the point of money being put out. Pure spy warrior is all about war opportunities and there is always a clan open to a pure spy mercenary. One of the great advantages of a pure spy in war is that they can burn almost any spy defence potion opening the player to steals from all of your clan mates and adding to your plunder. thank you for reading Thanks for reading this guide. Um there isn't really a time scale it's different for different players but I would say around a month or two
hell no!!!! pure spies DO NOT have allies in war. here's why: consider: you lose .2% of gold per hit. So, takes 500 hits to clear you out. Now, consider a fully potted pure spy. and someone attacks you, only using a 7.5 mil costing HOLY WRATH, to cancel out your staff of ages. Now, with the rest of the pots COMBINED, you have about 220k defense. A LCBC would have a field day killing you for money! Consider: when attacking another atk build, they would have to use all 10 atk pots to have a hope of winning. So, (assuming they are a competent fighter and have max plunder), they get 10 mil a hit. Not even enough to cover the cost of those 10 pots! Now, if they hit that spy 500 times, at max plunder, they have just earned their side 5bil in plunder, and have made 0.5 mil a hit after subtracting pot costs and tax, meaning 250mil. They then buy another set of holy wraths, and continue. So, you just handed the other team 5 bil, and put 250 mil in that guy's pocket, instead of beating you COSTING money, you're actually GIVING them money to beat your pots. That's a disaster in war. And the more allies you have, the more times they can do it. If you had 10 allies, id say the war was over. 50 Bil in no time, while the spy's side is still struggling and yelling "how the **** did they get 50 bil already??!!"
