best hf buid?

  1. i have built my seventh hf and am a little worried i may have made a mistake. what have people been building im wondering if its better to build an equal number of attack n def builds as opposed to building the equal stat building or is it still the case that theses provide best plunder
     
  2. ie : is it better to buid a rime forrest and a blood baracks or 2 elvin builds
     
  3. How in any way is something the best build? It depends on your play style. Activity..
     
  4. 2 equal stat buildings are better stat-wise than 1 attack and 1 def
     
  5. the build that is best depends in what you wish to do. Personally, I will be dedicating the majority of my HF lands to def towers. The low lands and high lands are all full of offensive buildings, and I can use attack pots to hit players who re substantially bigger than me. I'll have enough offensive power when I'm done upgrading all my highland buildings.

    Remember: if an attack is successful, it doesn't matter if its barely successful or really successful. You just need to get through. thats why i think attack building on HF are somewhat if a waste.

    BUT MOOSE, YOU ARE LOSING PLUNDER BY PUTTING DEF BUILDINGS ON HF LANDS!

    yea, but the o,under increase you get from those additional lands is small, and i already have plenty of land to give me plunder. also, staying at a somewhat smaller attack stat should make the new EB pay better, so its a win.

    So, my moosey advice is, build def towers

  7. Barely successful or easily successful is a huge difference. If I can hit at minimum troop loss I get more hits and have a far less chance of failure. Barely getting a hit through means I burnt a ton of troops on that hit and likely won't get many wins or hits in on a full bar.

    Also building that many towers will decrease your plunder due to the massive strength increase with no new buildings to earn income
     
  8. To counter greatness, he has a point with troop loss and whether the attack is barely or greatly successful. But getting through on an attack will still net you plunder and kill the enemy troops and potentially ko the person. I agree with moose that defensive buildings should go in the hf as they are stronger than the HL towers. Plunder also isn't a worry if you really want to war, taking a few mil away in plunder per hit doesn't matter when your build's purpose is to war. With that being said, if you want to war, build towers. If you want to eb, do not build towers.

  10. It's just a game..don't néed to research too deep into that.. Just build something you like to see most.. Be it the colour of the building or the troops.

  13. Moose, Versa and others have pretty much summed it up. The short answer depends on what you want to do with your build. Simply put:

    War build --- need towers, period.

    EB Build -- towers are unnecessary.

    OSW Build -- depends on whether you want to be Attack, Hybrid, Spy (or any of the myriad of combinations in between), once you choose what type of build you want, there are plenty of threads in the forums giving advice on the best type of builds.
