The Best Films Ever! Hi KaW, I come to you asking you what the best films ever are, but to make it easier, I'm splitting it into several genres, so enjoy! Genre One: Overall Best Film So there are thousands of films out there, so which one is the best? According to IMDb (Internet Movie Database) the best film of all time is Shawshank Redemption, a film about a man who has been falsely accused of double murder, and his time in prison. I would like to see Forrest Gump, a film about a man with Serebal Palsey, win this one, as it has more affect than any other film. Genre Two: Comedy My personal choice is the "300" parody, Meet the Spartans, with a terrible score of 2.6 from IMDb (probably because of a lack of historical accuracy) it is not the most obvius choive, but it got me laughing more than any other film Another section for this Genre is unintentional comedy, I pick the film Proxy. It is about a woman who gets attacked and aborted by a man, then I stopped watching, but due to a typo from the producers it is from the year 1013 and the special effects budget was $150, so the effects are a bit dodgey... Genre 3: Horror I'm gonna break the rules here and go for a Simpsons episode. The reason I picked this one is because it is ao unexpected, it is the episode of The Simpsons where dolphins take over earth and many beloved Springfielders die, I almost remember hiding from this episode when I was little, and I'll never look at a dolphin the same again... Genre 4: 'Tis the Season to be... This section is for seasonal films, eg. Halloween films, Easter Films, Christmas Films, etc. My favourite in this category is Elf, it's funny, and Will Ferrel does a great job acting in it. Genre 5: Crime Films SHAWSHANK REDMPTION Genre 6: Animation For me this is Kung Fu Panda 2, it's not often where a sequel out does the original, but here, the sequel is a million times better than the original. It has some funny moments, some serious moments, a brilliant villain, a brilliant set of heroes, a brilliant storyline, and one of the best final fights of all time. That's all for now folks! I don't want to put too much effort into an unpopular thread, so I'll leave it at that, and if it is popular enough, I'll make a sequel with more genres etc. So happy KaWing, and please no trolling, please do not disrespect others choices either, it's called an opinion and Freedom of Speech. Thanks, LocoLoki
Ricecake, i request that you leave my thread on the terms that that quote was unneccersary, and I consider it as spam, thank you
That was necessary considering the ridiculous color you chose. I couldn't read it until it was re-quoted.
