ok I'm going to get straight to the point, so read it or not, choose now. I'm writing the sequel to Emily, a story that failed on fanfic a while ago; and yes, while a few might complain about the fact that it never had an ending, that is irrelevant when it comes to the second. It's COMPLETELY different to the first And before I write pages of it and put it up, I have less than thirty minutes of free time in my day, and I'm not spending double that posting a story that three people read. So here's basically what the story is about and please tell me if posting it would be a waste of time; as my story is a pile of worthless crap, or if I should. Avenging Emily is the title and while it does make reference to the first story, and "finishes" the whole story per se, it is a completely different story. There is two plots to the story: The first is: Iris Beaufort is the main character, and while the story is in third person, it follows her the whole way through. Iris, though French in nationality, has never really had a home. Living at home with 'Celery', her eccentric grandmother (Celeste) and her constantly drunk father, since her mother committed suicide when she was just five, iris has always found life hard. But her discovery of what seems like a pile of old letters leads iris to believe that she may not be as alone as she once thought, and not the only one with the colour eyes of the purple flower she was named after. The second plot is: "Celery" iris' grandmother (Celeste) has always been full of stories about her childhood, about ghosts and mirrors, lockets and mysterious statues. But one story haunts both iris and her grandmother, the story of Emily. But now celery is dying, and iris is passed on the burden of fulfilling the wishes of the dead girl; to avenge her death. To avenge Emily. But how can you kill your sister, when you never knew you had one, and she wants nothing more than your death?
Ermahgawd it's Alexandria's genesis Lol, jk. I dunno. Try writing a little of both, and see which suits your style more.
I'm gonna say it again: I write, I do not read. Not usually. I have 0 opinion on the subject, and I will probably ignore it. Now, I'm off to read Pillars of the Earth.
