So I was chatting with a LB friend the change in the game maths and we decided to have an experiment. He as I started at the same time and he's BC with all the same wins I'd have if I didn't farm relentless and unforgiving giggling to myself. Anyhow at 500b out I attacked him with both of us full at 11attack on 11 defense pots. I (barely) one and he lost almost 1b Really! I lost my mind. I can as an attack (or more appropriately stated- equally mixed) build and strip effective right up to pin. So if I had your sleep schedule and 500b I could take that off you and you'd have about 30b left when you woke up. I'm not sure this is an adjustment in game math as I didn't test it before. I know huge top 5 lb players took double off osf's in pwar era so in an effort to understand this I'd bet a pure attack build would take more per hit than I would, but Idk about that as I'm not sure if it was ally plunder that I made or base plunder. I made 59m on the hit and am short 9 lands from BC. Tldr: game mechanics - discuss
This didnt say anything about spies, or i just completely went blind for a second where it did. Anyway, so are you saying that the attack to lose ratio is 1/500th of the amount of cash out? I had 19b out earlier today and somebody spied me (HLBC OSF) and they stole 18m. Im assuming thats around 1/1000th of the gold I had out. Im not sure if this helps at all, just an observation.
Yea, spies got their decimal place moved after the strip on Trueplayer. They are different on size though which I believe is a new development.
Its actually 1/1000th Anyway its like .02% or something. Blackwolf666 posted it on forums awhile back. I dont remember how long ago, and if it was changed before. Ask shifter to post a SS of it, its actually really helpful.
He was banned for account sharing and buying nobility points for other players. I think he was eventually found innocent and was un banned, but didnt stay. Has been inactive for over a year now and his account still remains. He hasnt checked in forums in that year, so he has had to come on at some point to not get deleted.
Swabia, I present to you the comma. Mayhaps you'd like to learn how it works? As to the actual content of the thread, I've no idea. I was a pwar noob, an am now an eb noob, so game mechanics don't really matter to me.
Well, thanks for stopping by for the grammar correction then razz. Yes, blakwulf666 posted the .2% gold destroyed per hit and I corrected it to .02% which is what the devs did in response to the strip of Trueplayer. In retrospect it made spies mad and they should have allowed steals >20 an hour in regular strip amounts but alter in the <20 an hour to the adjusted % But whatev. Anyhow I was shocked to see attacks take so much money. I thought they were capped. I didn't know attacks were also a floating percentage. Looks like mine is 1:500th against players bigger than me. Perhaps against my size or smaller this is different.
Also, yes, Trueplayer was banned while his account was being investigated. His ban became public and he was eaten alive by every free spy on the game. The cover story from the NAG minister of propaganda at the time was he was in Vegas on vacation and not near his phone. He was eventually unbanned but his $ was not restored. Ata didn't release proof of TP cheating, but ScarletShadow confessed the whole sorted mess of account sharing and nob abuse when he reset her (him) because he had her udid which he used to give her (him) nobs and keep her (him) active on a different time schedule to prevent strips. I bet that's hard to follow too.
I personally like the fact it dropped, but dont think it should have dropped so drastically. I dont think its exactly that. I want to say its a base % that goes for everybody. This would need to be tested. At most i see it being, that if you are "x" amount of stats higher total, lower total, or close enough to it the % will be different per how much they lose. Yes this obviously goes for how much you get from a win, but if it isnt the same base % for everybody, that sounds like the only theory.
