Aqua/Inferno Uses

  1. This is not another post about the recent "moth hunt".

It's fairly obvious most players were unhappy with the turnout. I think it was a lesson learned for all of us: Ignore Forums, Hit Battle List.

However, I do have an observation.

A huge part of the reward for this "promotion" was aqua and inferno. This also remains a "reward" in many EBs.

I'm sure I'm not alone here, but... after a certain point, what on earth are they good for? I've got a combined 130 of the suckers, with no need for them, and no ending in sight.

    A few ideas:
Use aqua to clean off your old, albeit stronger, equipment.
Use the inferno to burn the moths.
Use the aqua to drown the moths.
Use the inferno to "light me up that cigarette and strap shoes on my feet..." (bonus points for name that tune)
Use the aqua to add to scotch to make it a little less harsh.
Use the inferno to reenact a scene from Dante's "Inferno" (no, not our -Dante-... come on, enhance your mind with literature, people)
Use the inferno to produce and direct a movie based on the novel "Inferno" by Dan Brown.
Use the aqua to perform "Barbie Girl", a 1997 breakout single by the band Aqua.

    Oh so many ideas...

But here comes the big one, and the reason for my post in this category...

ATA should make aqua and inferno tradeable or sellable.

As it stands, a good portion of players have no need for either if them anymore. So, when we are "rewarded" with them, it is actually no reward at all.

That's a pretty crappy way to treat your most active players.

We can certainly buy them, using gold or crystals.

So why not the other way around? Or start rewarding with items we can use.

There is very little incentive to play anymore. Too many new things without fixing any of the old, and it's too skewed towards a specific type of player (ahem: chaos wars).

No trolls allowed, please. However, ideas on the different uses for aqua and inferno are welcome, as they can no longer be used in this game.
