Prologue 2015, Tokyo, Japan A deadly viral disease spread throughout Tokyo with devastating effects. Aggressive vomiting, Nervous system shutting down and going blind are all main symptoms. The Japanese government quarantined all people with the virus, VTZ1 as they had named it. Within 48 hours they had developed a cure. An injection. By now the disease had spread to most major cities in the world and their fail quarantine was lifted. The Japanese government sent their cure to every major city in the world. All seemed good. Late 2015 A quarter of the people who were cured have died. No one knows why. The rest Have been taken to hospitals for secret "tests". Their body structure was wrong. The anatomy wasn't human. It had grown into something else. All these people were taken from their homes in a covert operation known as "Pro Z". They were all taken to an unidentified location and killed in the biggest government cover up ever. The bodies were spread over the world to be buried in random cemetery's to try to avoid detection. Early 2016 Devastation, Pure devastation. The bodies buried all over the world have rose from the dead and started to eat people, zombies... No one believes it. The infection spread and soon it was in every major city/town. It was not the end though. People who got lucky, were rednecks, watched a lot of zombie movies or just were good fighters survived. Some wondered alone, others in organized groups. The government still exists in hidden places across the world, trying to regain control and killing anything or anyone who tries to stop them. Some people still try to find out the origin of VTZ1. Some people think it was aliens others think a secret organization did it. Me? I Don't care. I don't have time to. Chapter 1 "Hi. My name is Dalton Ebling. Right now I'm sitting in a half collapsed 2 story convenience store. I'm watching 3 members of the gang that called themselves Peoples Warriors, They are walking straight into my trap." 3 gunshots from my sniper tear through the post apocalyptic city. "****" I grumble. I scramble to the side of the door and get my Katana out. A man runs towards the door screaming. The door opens slowly with a eerie creak. Then all of a sudden I slam myself into the door. I Jump out from behind the door and was met with a swift elbow to the gut. I winced in pain but quickly punched the man in the face. Then I spun with my katana and lodged it deep within his shoulder. "Don't miss next time" He mumbled before I kneed him in the face, knocking him out. Panting I took all the useful stuff he had, like food and ammo. Then I went outside to what used to be a bustling city, now a dreadful hellhole. Soon I remember I'm in a zombie apocalypse and I start hearing all the distorted moans and grunts of decomposing people. All of a sudden a zombie in rather good nick charged at me. I had time to prepare for a counter attack so I picked up a rock. The zombie was getting close so I charged at it too. CRUNCH Was all you could hear as I hit the zombie in its gaping jaws with the rock. It dropped to the ground, still alive unfortunately. I knew I couldn't stay here so I sprinted to a small apartment building across the street. I opened the door and shut it quickly. After taking a brief look around I barred the door with some chairs and other stuff i found. I went right up to the top floor checking every room as I went. When I reached the top floor I picked a room and set up shop. Well sorta, see I only have some stuff. I set down my radio and pulled of the sniper rifle that was strapped to my back. I turned on my radio and flickered through the channels eventually I found something. "Ma'am stay calm were coming to get you" said a commanding male voice. "NO, STAY BACK! Hurry it's breaking through! Said a sobbing woman. "Grab something to defend yourself with, a pole, a brick anything!" said the man. "AHHhhh...." "Ma'am!!" *Static* "Arrgh Damn it!'' "Hello?" I say but get no response. I sat the radio down and pulled out a bag of potato chips. Man was I hungry. Fighting zombies really takes some effort!.
