Android Transfer Warning

All..... if your planning to transfer an android device (ie phone is going in for repair) then dont as android transfers are not available !

My phone had to go into repair a week or so ago and wasnt sure if i was going to get a new one so i sent email to support asking for advise for my android and they replied with all the information to xfer to new/temp phone. So this was great and transferred act to a temp phone for just over a week. Upon return of my phone - repeated the process (feedback from old temp phone with imei number etc matching with feedback of my repaired phone) - only this time to get a email back from devs......'

Android transfers are currently not available, we apologize for the
inconvenience and we will make an announcement as to when this feature
is made available'

So if your an android then just beware of this ....

Brunette - worked for me only a week ago - but this is hot off the press from dev support. i have replied to their email but no reply yet but hopefully when they wake up they will. If devs had communicated the fact that they were no longer doing direct android transfer until a later day then i would have gone via the FB route (if i had a spare fb account of course - which i dont.) Looks like i will have to twiddle my fingers until they restart android transfers.

Just warning people that if they are replacing/upgrading their android phone then hold off until they know they can xfer accounts directly or as you have said link it to a facebook account first.
