Hey all, I was thinking today, and I was wondering if it was possible for all of Fan Fiction to write a story together, one chapter at a time. Here's how it could possibly work: ---The guardians could come up with a setting and decide a basic plot that could involve a lot of characters like a bunch of kids get trapped in a video game and they have to collect 9 keys to get out. After the plot is decided, all who wished to be involved put in character bios. We give everyone like a week. Then every day or so someone could write a chapter, we would have people volunteer. It wouldn't necessarily have to be in any sort of order, but no one could post two chapters in a row. And see where it goes from there! Any ideas? I know I'm a noob, but I think this could be really cool.
I support! I just hope our different writing styles will merge together as one... And would we be doing it on the forums?
Good idea, but something is bound to go wrong. (People twisting plot, not reading previous posts, the same 3 people posting after the first few days,etc.) but really good idea
We would have to have a very strict system. A list of in what order everyone posts, if someone doesn't post in x amount of days, then the next person goes. Plus we would all have to agree on a plot. It's totally doable though.
I think the best way to go about this is to do as afore mentioned and make a list with a time limit. The purpose of the character bios is not only to give everyone a gist of the characters, but also to make sure none are overpowered either which I see as a potential problem We would also to have huge guardian support against spammers and messer-uppers.
