Ok ive had this idea for a while now and i think i will put it down on record. Ok you sell an ally and you gain 1% profit of the cost of that ally, but then the price goes up by 5%. if you cant afford it you have to farm the buyer or hit epic battles. (this suggestion is only for PvP situations and not intended for epic battles) but what if there was some more incentive to actually keeping an active ally besides the very tiny bonus it gives to your stats hoping that he actually plays the game and grows and dont quit after a month. lets say my owner goes to war this is a war game that happens. now, win or lose it makes no difference to me im just some tiny kingdom. what if it did mean something? what if i get gold when my owner attacks another kingdom? what if my owner gets gold when i attack another kingdom? after all... you take your allies to war. im not suggesting give me ton of gold while i do nothing. im saying like 1% of the hit should go to my allies or be taken from. example::: lets say i attack someone on battle list i hit him once for 10m gold, but he had no gold out. 10m gold just generated out of nothing. what if that gold comes from his allies? 1% of 10m = 10,000g all of his allies lose 10,000g and all of my allies gain 10,000g (per hit) i know what youre thinking. "i dont want to lose a bunch of gold because my owner is getting his butt kicked" if you have no gold out then it would get passed to your allies at 0.1% = 10g now lets talk about my owner. i attacked the guy for 10m and my owner gets 10% = 100,000g (per hit) to which 1% of that goes to all his alies. = 1,000g (including me) yeah 100k thats nothing in the sceme of things multiply that by 250 allies attacking ALL AT ONCE, if they all were in wars or battlelist at the same time AND plundering 10m per hit. 250 X 100,000g thats 25m if they all hit once. not bad eh? if you have 250 allies and they all unload each taking 10m plunder as in the example. Full unload of 250 allies would be 600m. i know what youre thinking::: "this is all to complicated my head hurts, this is just some dumb war game. why are you making me think?" the effects of this game mechanic:: 1. Ally chat actually being used. 2. Owners ecouraging PvP to Allies. 3. Allies actively helping Owners in OSW or Farming situations. 4. Closer Owner/Ally relationship (bromance) 5. Way more PvP and Wars 6. More volleying allies. (rehiring) 7. More stripping. 8. More banking. 9. More noob tears. 10. More Kingdoms At War. I know what youre thinking::: "Ok, what happens when you have no allies?" well then gold is just generated out of thin air and nothing is new. if you like or dislike this suggestion please post a comment. *BUMP
Support , pvp comes apart of the ally market and actually keeping an active is actually worth it. Although I would rather not lose gold if one of my allies is getting beaten up.
But on the negative side buying an inactive is a very bad choice, so for new players it would be very hard.
if your ally gets beat up you will lose nothing, his allies are losing. loss goes to bottom profit goes to the top
yeah owning inactive allies is not good BUT. he would make gold from his owner too ! so even the little guy gets in on it from his owner, assuming his owner does PvP
yes indeed. not intended for epic battles. that would just ruin the whole thing. kingdoms at war not kingdoms at epic battles
