As we know, if someone is particularly annoying or breaching game rules, they can be silenced temporarily or permanently in world chat by moderators. As an admin, there are times when a temporary silence can be useful in clan chat also. Usually these are war related purposes, for example war commander is explaining tactics, or during war when only trackers and war commanders should be talking. My suggestion would require some GUI changes, but hopefully would not be too difficult to implement since the silence feature already exists. Requirements are as follows: 1- In the clan members screen, the Manage button should have a new option - Silence/unsilence member. Admins may silence any non admin, owners may silence anyone including admins, similar to the title changing logic. 2- In the clan members screen, anyone with an individual clan chat silence applied should be clearly shown as being silenced - eg. a small speaker sign with a cross through it (TV mute icon) shown in the bottom right of the flag that shows if you are a pro-pack user or not. 3- In the clan manage screen, add a new Clan Silence option, which should take you to a sub menu. This option only available to clan owners as could be abused by admins perhaps (feel free to discuss below) 4- Options: Silence all (all users except owner are silenced). Unsilence all (all users are unsilenced, including any silenced individually using above option). Silence non-warrers (silences anyone without wave of conflict cast) I believe that the above enhancement will be most useful, and not that difficult to implement. I'm not sure exactly how the moderator silence function works, perhaps the above requirements could be adjusted a little to fit in with current state and still give the same benefits.
