Hello good players of Kingdoms at War! Today I throw by you an idea! The idea is that we have a counter, and for each day in a row we are active, the counter goes up 1! These points are similar to nobs, but they are free! And the only way to get them is by being active, no paying! For example: Every day you get one of these, then after ten days it jumps to two a day etc... You could then save them up for 1 Activity Point for 1 Nobility point 2 Activity Points for 1 xtal 3 Activity Points for 3 bronze bars 4 Activity Points for 5 bronze bars 5 Activity Points for 7 Nobility Points 6 Activity Points for 10 bronze bars 7 Activity Points for 2 Silver Bars 8 Activity Points for 5 xtals And so on... Maybe they could be called Activity Boxes
I feel like if this was to be implemented it would be more like a 5 day thing and it would go like this; Day 1: 1 bronze bar Day 2: 1 bronze bar Day 3: 1 health crystal Day 4: 1 sliver bar Day 5: 2 health crystals
Question #1 Will this make the devs money? Hint: The answer to that question and whether or not this will be implemented are the same.
It would increase activity, and when a player is more active and spend more time on the game they are more likely to spend
People have been plugging for activity rewards since 2010 bud. The freebies as some would call them and rewards for loyalty to the game have been declining steadily since the early days. You know they used to give out about 3-6 xtals to each player every time there was some sort of server issue? Shoot I would log on randomly and get a message "thanks for continuing to play our game, enjoy a few health crystals". But, I'd love to be proven wrong about the Devs these days
I don't get why the players are so pessimistic about this being implemented. If the developers already do it in S.M.A.S.H., then they don't have a reason (other than code and determining a good cycle of materials) to not implement it here. I don't think such an implementation would impact KaW's complexity budget, but perhaps it is more there isn't enough variety of things to hand out that would be worth the log-in bonus, not more. For instance, you don't unlock the alchemist and the mage until you upgrade your castle (or at least the mage) if I recall correctly. This keeps inferno, aqua, and mithril out of the rotation. What does that leave us? A crystal or three, a nobility or five, and a (small) flat amount of gold possibly around 10-100 million. Given the reward count is too low (random potion rewards would indeed be too wide to be considered), the cycle is too small to be feasibly implemented. Yes, you could add a Horn of Calydor to the mix, but a 4 day rotation seems a little too short for that reward (if rotations are 24 hours and not the 8 hours it is elsewhere). Ironically, it's KaW's simplicity that is the best reason for keeping such an update from occurring.
People are pessimistic because of the fact that this idea has been floating around for ages. In fact, there's a tonne of good ideas out in KaW that get little to no recognition from the devs. People are pessimistic because currently, the only things the devs do is copy and paste their events. People are pessimistic because they don't see the devs doing anything. I've said this before and I will say it again - it is completely understandable that the devs cannot implement every single thing suggested on forums, or even most of the things suggested. However, in saying that - there's not much indication that they are listening. They could very well be working on a whole new promo idea or daily rewards for that matter; but we don't know that if they don't tell us. They said they were working on LL wars, that's great. Why not let us know what else they're working on? There's not enough communication. If devs communicated more, people might get the answers they want. Or understand why, for example, daily rewards aren't on their agenda. People are pessimistic because they don't feel the devs are listening or are interested in KaW anymore. Whether that's right or wrong doesn't matter. KaW needs to communicate to the players. There is little communication IMO. If that could increase, I think the players would feel less 'pessimistic'. Players want to see that the devs see beyond just promos.
Almost every other ATA game gets free stuff. By free stuff I mean you have a chance to win the equivalent of Seals in their other games.
It would have to be a spinner and have the option to buy more spins or more turns or else devs won't do it
