Activity metrics

  1. Trying to run a clan is tough. You don't want to kick active hitters, and all it takes is one hit to be "active". Plus you don't want to kick somebody who is inactive for a haunt while they're sleeping, at least if you're not a rotten bastard. So why can't KAW have an admin/owner dashboard that shows clan activity by member? I want to see who is known to unload once a day, or just do a couple hits while using my clan's bonus to farm. This is sorely needed. At least give me .txt or .csv downloads so I can work some magic in a spreadsheet app.

While I'm asking, give me total damage done per EB along with action counts and plunder. I'd love to prove that hansels are a bunch leeches 

  2. if this is a concern of yours, change the titles at the beginning of the eb to reflect the member's win/loss. you can then track their activity on your own.

a bit of extra work, but that is what admins are for.

  3. Word solved your prob

  4. Also use the Battle Log

  5. Pretty sure when an eb is up you can check how many actions they had. Also im not a sponge:)

  6. You guys are talking about doing a crap-ton of work. I am aware of these techniques and I have used them as an owner and admin. But I am talking about a simple SQL query that does all those hours worth of work in 30 seconds. You could conceivably perform a good number of analysis with the proposed data set without having to manually aggregate that data.

  7. i undestand why eb clans like yours want something like this. BUT in terms of how i want the devs to spend their time, i would rather they would work on something else.

only clans like yours need something like this. and it is possible to do the work on your own. b2b does it. (or did, i haven't been there in a long time) why not you?

  8. Best way (This is how I hire allies too) is check there battles won on their profile and write it down. Then on the next day, about the same time, go back to their profile and write down the new number. Then take the difference of the two numbers. After that divide by 403 and this is how I find how active they are.

In psychology you learn the average person needs 8.5 hours sleep. Minus this from 24 hours in a day. Multiply that by 26 attacks per hour (balanced build). This is how I figured 403.

I figure this close to the percentage out of the day they spend on KaW. This method works for me, I do know its over simplified and ignores spy's and the regin for balanced buildings is 1.0833 hours, but it works.

  9. I've been admin in 6 different clans and it's been a problem in every one of them. This is not by any stretch and uncommon problem. On top of that, it's not a difficult problem to address. It's a simple thing to take a average function over a series of EBs. Have some indicator that tells of a members activity.

It's possible to do manually, but we could also be playing this game with dice, it's a variation on Dungeons

  10. Also sorry for the babbleness I'm on a few hours sleep...

     I'm a KaW addict 

  11. HAV0C, you do that for your 100 member clan after every EB? Sounds like a ton of work. Hours a day, even. Especially if you take into account turnover, and members that join and leave your clan frequently.

  12. Support ayo n8o! This would be handy, though I couldn't see the DEVS implementing it cos it doesn't require us to purchase anything 

  13. Crap, my message got cut off. I was going to say, dungeons and dragons. We could do this manually, the whole game. But we don't. I'm just proposing the next logical step.

  14. Thx Hub, I'm trying to remain optimistic. 

  15. Op I DO do that for all in my clan, it's not that bad just rather time consuming

  16. Exactly my point, time consuming. But, back to my original post, I really doubt that you're tracking total damage done by member.

  17. As long as u know how many times they hit, what does it matter

  18. No, I keep a list of two hundred people for trading in the ally market.
