Firstly, I'd like to make it clear that I am not trying to stir anything, but rather, I just want answers, as most if not all of us do. So here's my story..... I logged on today, the 7th of June 2012, as usual, with anticipation of potion throws in haunting, but to my dismay, found my account permanently banned, WITHOUT any issue of warnings whatsoever. No explanation was provided as to why my account had been treated as such, which brings me to the purpose of this thread, to know if anyone out there has had similar experiences. I do wish to know the specifics, and not the standard response that the support team usually privileges us, the users with, the usual "we have noticed an unusual activity with your account......", which is obviously very helpful in terms of identifying what we have violated or done wrong really. I am aware of the TOU, and am CERTAIN that I have done nothing whatsoever to violate it, but the support team seems to think otherwise, with a whole lot of helpful information in their e-mail responses. So yeah, automated game play? Try eliciting a feedback or response whenever activity is noticed on my account. I initiate epic battles, chat on clan chat/private messages, throw potions, unload troops, the usual exciting stuff. Maybe I am just an IT whizz, who is just so gifted that I am able to tailor my game play so intricately. I am however, guilty. Guilty of playing too much kaw. Guilty of consistently checking my phone, so I don't miss potion throws. Guilty of grabbing my phone the first thing in the morning, or when I go for a wee in the middle of the night. Guilty of initiating an epic battle as soon as one ends, so I don't waste my troops. Guilty for always making sure I unload at least 20 minutes worth of troops right when an epic battle ends. Whilst it is probably "humanly impossible" to the support team, most if not everyone will call it addiction and urge to outplay the others. Following had been adopted from the e-mail response I received from the support team. Your account is now BANNED because we have detected suspicious activity in regards to your account. Keep in mind that we do track every user action in the game and are fully aware of everything done in our games. If we detect any suspicious activity we perform extensive reviews. We have reviewed all of your actions and reached the conclusion that you are violating our rules. We also do not disclose our tracking methods nor will we be providing information as to what actions led to your ban. Please review what is not allowed in all of our games: -Multiple accounts on the same iDevice or sharing of accounts between one or more devices. -Multiple pc/web accounts, only one allowed per user. -Botting/automation (e.g. bots, macros, scripts) to operate an account. -The use of an unauthorized client. If you would like to appeal your ban keep in mind that you broke our rules and should we let you to continue you to play, you do so at our allowance. We take no pleasure in removing players from our games however this is unfair to our players who do not violate our "You may not do any of the following to Kingdoms at War." In order for your appeal to be processed, an admission of guilt is necessary whenever we consider removing the ban. This is so players are fully aware that they have broken our rules and there are consequences, this is also to discourage others from attempting the same. Depending on the severity of your actions, as a repercussion we may or may not choose to remove items or any balance of gold that you currently have out. And/or we may hold your account inaccessible for a certain length of time that we deem fit. You will also need to review our terms of use if you are unclear on the rules and the links can be found in the bottom of this email. Installing the application and continuing to play is a binding agreement that you adhere to our rules automatically. This is the only chance at a appeal and we expect your cooperation. Kingdoms at War terms of use http://www.kingdomsatwar.com/faq/tos.html Party in my Dorm terms of use http://www.partyinmydorm.com/faq/tos.html Future Combat: Patriots at War terms of use http://www.patriotsatwar.com/faq/tos.html Gangs at war terms of use http://www.gangsatwar.com/faq/tos.html Thanks, A Thinking Ape Support I just want an answer, if it isn't too much to ask for? If I don't know what I did wrong, how can I be sure not to repeat it in the future? Also, just to add on, I would think that every user in this game appreciates an issue of warning before any permanent ban is in effect. Thanks to those who have spent their time reading my lamentations.
