Something can be said for people willing to kill their own unborn child. Expenses? That's bull. What people don't want is the responsibility. To selfish to give up their time and some money for their own flesh and blood. "A woman should have the right to do what she wants with her body"? Also a load of crap, that fetus may be in her body, but it's not her body. Abortion shouldn't be a acceptable form of birth control, birth control is an acceptable form of birth control. Take responsibility for your actions!.

Should be a penalized procedure to have, something to discourage it. Now some circumstances should be exempted. Such as health concerns, or for victims of sexual assault if they wish to go that route. But such things account for a very low % of abortions. If a Woman is healthy enough to have a safe pregnancy, then she should be inclined to do so.

 

Hell, now days we have animal rights to the point of being on the verge of ridiculousness. People are sued, fined, incarcerated or ridiculed for accused "hate crimes" even if they are trivial. So much as look at a woman can get a man charged with sexual harassment if the woman says she felt threatened. Refusing to wed homosexual on basis of religious beliefs can land you in prison.

Consequences for kinds of trivial things, and people are still stuck whether killing you baby is ok or not? Seriously?

 

The thing is, I'd rather have parents who are willing to raise a child rather than those who aren't. If a woman isn't ready to have a child or purely doesn't want to, when her child is born most likely they will be neglected, abused, etc. I'd much rather prefer that children born to have willing and able parents.

However, I agree that if you have sex you should be ready for the potential consequences.

An abortion is mainly used when someone is forced to have sex and becomes pregnant. It's not just as if they wanna kill babies.

 

So when you get cancer or a tumour, you should accept it as apart of your bodys function.
Dont tell woman what to do with their own body.
Its nothing to do with anybody else but the woman...

Really gonna compare a living, growing human fetus to a cancer or a tumor? Seperate entity entirely. Not from the woman own flesh or cells, entirely new dna, it's own. Not hers

 

There is no rational argument with "it's her body" not removing a part of their body are they? Removing the body inside them.

 

All situations are different. To generalise that people don't want responsibility is just out of line. You don't know each woman. You don't know what they went through. You don't the circumstances of how they fell pregnant. You don't know what their life is like. You don't know how difficult it was for them to make such a decision. You don't know whether they have the ability to support a child or not.

Every single pregnancy is different. To say one person is exempt from not having an abortion but others should NOT have one is unfair. No one is forcing you to have an abortion, you don't have the right to force others not to have one. That is their decision alone.

 

And how is it any of your business? Get over yourself, you aren't that important to think you can make decisions concerning anyone but yourself and your family. It's people like you that make me sick.

And for the record - I do not agree with it, but I also know what is and isn't anyone else's business - and people like you from their holier than thou bull.... Are ten times worse than any woman making that decision - again - get over yourself

 

It does come across as he/she thinks they can make decisions about other people. But these people can't make their own decision concerning their life.

Assisted suicides too. Disabled people...sickly...let em be put down. Hell your depressed kids over 18 too. 2 major problems 1 birth control doesn't always work my neighbor was on the pill and he used condoms but the condon broke and despite still having the pill she got pregnant and 2 what is the woman was forced in to intercourse ? And isn't ready for a child then what?

I'm not entirely ignorant. I get some people should not have kids or are incapable of caring for kids. But there are other better ways to prevent pregnancy. Abortion is profitable, which is exactly why it's such a convenient procedure. But the world should be looking towards newer and safer ways to prevent pregnancy. I'm not even against population Control. You liberals want this and you want that and anyone who doesn't agree gets ridiculed. Just because you think something should be socially acceptable doesn't mean I should think that, or want that. Everybody can't do what they want, it's just not logical. Can't deny how messed up the world is today because of this.
