In the year 2157 our earth is struggling. Our resources have dwindled down to an all time low. War has broken out all over the world with north koreia being an up and coming superpower. 5 years ago with an alliance with japan and india the launched an attack in china. Killing more than half of the Chinese population in a single day with 22 high yield nukes. The world is in an uproar all nations are untrusting each other. Two years ago a rogue comets stuck and asteroid in the asteroid belt sending it toward earth. It wasn't on a collision corse instead it setteled into orbit around our moon. Scientist have sent probes to the new small moon and have discovered an abundance of new elements. With this new material which is called gravimite new enegry sources and metals have been formed to build some new prototype ships.  

 

These new ships are formed. And soon travel to our own asteroid belt on a regular basis is common. The story will evolve from there.

 

Small ships capture and tow asteroids toward the moon where a processing plant is built. These ships are called pearl wranglers. The reason is when you look up at the moon now, the asteroids look like pearls around our moon.

 

Different factions in the world government are at war over the control of these new resources.

 

Writers note: Pearl wrangles are being attacked by pirates intent on taking to resources for themselves. A military vessel FCV Endeavor patrols the belt aka the ring of pearls.

Mining craft attach tow cable to rock and pull toward moon. The asteroid field is vast in it's riches. There is gold silver titanium diamonds and several new minerals and elements never before discovered. One of the new materials is named gravimite. It has unique characteristics that enable ship builders to build ship more on a horizontal plane. This makes a low level gravity field to where we can walk normal on a ship instead of floating around.

 

Small fusion reactors are used for generating power on board the Endeavor.
