Howdy forums. I have itchy feet. I've spent a lot of my life in one area of my country and I've accomplished a lot of what I've set out in my life. I have my degree and post grad qualifications, I'm accomplished in my profession regularly churning out results that keep everyone happy. But I am relatively young still. Between the age of 20 and 30 and I've achieved the goal I set for myself at aged 8. I want a new challenge. A new experience. I think it's time to travel. What I want to know, is why do you think the country you live in is the place to be? Or even be more specific if you wish - but I am interested in seeing what the kawmunity thinks is the best place to live and back that up with why. So forums, convince me... [title2]Why should anyone live where you live?[/title2]
Move to the states, things should get pretty interesting after the election, were screwed no matter who wins
Fair play; 1) currently in UK near a large city 2) happy to live in either a rural or urban area but would prefer to have access to a city within an hour by train/road 3) English as a commonly spoken language is preferable 4) if in a rural location then I would want some sort of hook to keep me occupied, eg a friend of mine lives in Canada and his house backs onto a lake he can dive into, water ski on, fish etc -- another friend of mine lives in Australia and she lives near a bespoke craft beer brewery and becoming a beer connoisseur appeals to me
Come to straya mate, we don't have massacres every hour, it's safe, our government don't consist of two thick-heads, and we don't ask for another Brexit.
Australia is a possibility due to having some friends over there already but also being a commonwealth country means I can get a 2 year visa without much issue - plus I hear your politics is as complicated as ours and that'll be a home from home
Australia is great depending on where you are and what you want to do there. It's a big place. Canada is also a good choice if you don't mind the cold part of the year. Malta has always appealed to me though.
Certainly not scotland......weve enough guys with degrees in this and that who work in mcdonalds or kfc.....infact i recently employed a new guy with a law degree to take care of "in house duties" ....basically sweeping and mopping.....u see i spent my time from the age i left school at 16 to work my way up to being the boss while this guy thought he would go get a degree and now he makes my morning coffee......hell...my mrs got a degree in buisness n she washes my clothes and makes the dinner so if u have a degree im looking for someone to make my lunch and then my breakfast lunch n dinner is sorted.
I'm was born in London but 3 years ago I moved 3 hours away to the seaside and just recently moved back . It doesn't matter to me any more how pretty the scenary is or if there's a beach no more. After a few bad things that happened there .it made me realize all that matters is being next to family.ill never move too far from them again.cliftonville kent / palm bay you'd love though
Australia is full of poisonous snakes and spiders. Don't go there. You will die. Also don't go to Florida. Or Eastern Europe. Or anywhere in mainland Asia. Or South America. Or Africa. Or Central America. So...basically Canada, a limited number of places in the United States, Western Europe, or Japan. Everywhere else is to be avoided. Actually just build a underground bunker.
You make it hard to love you sometimes pars. This post is wrong on so many levels that it shouldn't have made me laugh. But I did laugh. I'm a bad person
If you're not already stuck here, you should not come. :?. Don't get me wrong, the place is beautiful and there are amazing people, but corruption + dumb electors have dragged it down and it's a third world country, stuck as it. So do not come here, :?.
