I wanted to post a couple do's and don'ts in case you get "farmed". But first off: please remember this is a war game... "Farming" doesn't really exists in a wargame. You're not growing crops are you? The term "farming" is from back in de OSF days. It was a unwritten rule not to hit those more than 5x in 24 hours. The OSF days are over, instead there are EB's now... Now a couple don't if you find yourself getting "farmed": - Don't whine in the forums. This will only get you more "farming" - Don't whine on your opponents wall. Usually farmers enjoy this and keep hitting to collect more tears . Besides that you wouldn't want to give your opponent a easy link would you? - Don't keep gold out, your gold would just disappear. Bank instead. Buy pots (attack pots that is, these can't be burned if you're getting hit/stripped) or allies. - Don't go whining to your opponents owner. He might just farm you to because he hates the whining. - A couple Do's if your under fire (getting farmed) - Do bank your gold - Do report incoming in CC (defenetly if your in a warclan) - Do check your opponent; is he in a war clan, what is his build, what is his TZ etc. - Do return fire. I personally like to burn a few xtals and burn my opponents pots, gold and troops. - Do strip your opponent. - Do join a warclan. They are a lot more fun - Do make sure you have enough spy defence (SDP) and defencs (DP) pots. This are just a couple examples. Please note that hitting someone in a warclan might result in waking up naked You could also choose to have the admins from your clan handle it. However, that is a lot less fun right... A lot warclans would massively hit someone hitting one of there members, so choose your targets wisely This is my first thread, I know BB-codes would lighten the thread up, but I'm simply not using them. Osf's have been in the game for a very long time, and a noob made it up because he was getting hit continuously. This then grew as a rule so fast it was stupid.
And Oliver, A sticky would be nice. Have the Newbs and Noobs read and learn about the game Would be fun to see a bit more PvP... I can't help but wonder: where are the damn trolls? My newsfeed is empty and my troops full
Attack pots that is, as we all know defense pots will just get burned right up and does not help to bank. Nice thread though Enforcer.
Harry: OSF's really helped the KaWmunity by "giving" away gold. The "farming" was a unwritten rule. And if I remember correct; "farming" a OSF would get you in big trouble. OSF used to be protected by a lot players. Abuse the OSF and get spanked a lot...

It did, but what I'm saying is it spread around so fast to players that were not osf's. We need everyone to start farming again.
