Wilfred Owen My hero. A great poet and role model to all whom aspire to follow in his footsteps. Most famous for his poem Dulce et decorum est (it is sweet and right to die for your country) and many others . All of these poems were written in the heat of battle so are very accurate descriptions of the world war one and those involved. Why am I writing this? you may be asking, the reason is, I am trying to promote poetry everywhere (and also learn from others as I go along) Now I have been compared to this Wilfred Owen (by university scholars) due to my latest poem, the unit, which I cannot post for the hope of the publication. but I would just like to let people know that my hero was and is a great man and if anyone ever asks who he is I will kill them Mr.blujay
I'd like to nominate this thread for "worst thread ever" If you have any literary sense you will realize that your a moron and should go back in the closet
Dulce est decorum est pro patria mori Actually means It is a great and noble thing to die for your country
