4 Haters only - A poem from over the rainbow ;)

I don't know if KaW is a place that will take this well, but a new-found friend wanted to see more of my work, and this is the only one of my poems i can find right now xP
I guess it's kind of a soliloquiy (spelt wrong) first about me and how some people respond, and then to a specific person

Interlude

It is a beautiful girl that holds my love,
Life plays a funny game,
She will never be with me,
For my sex is the same.

Poem


These people are so fickle,
Their judging never stops,
They won't understand my love,
They'll just watch, whisper, and mock.

I cannot change myself,
And wouldn't if i could,
I'm proud to be only me,
Just the way i should.

And when i walk on by them,
I'll hold my head up high,
They can do their talking as i'm walking,
And i'll refuse to cry.

I am not mistaken,
Nor am i 'confused',
I am who i am,
And as i said,
Proud to be it too,
And if you cannot take that,
Then i'll just say "**** you."

Sorry dear,
I'm a queer,
And that's the way it is.

You don't want me near you?
What do you really think i'd do?
I wouldn't like you anyway,
I'd rather kiss my shoes.

You think you have a pretty face,
And that i'll fall for you.
But i find you fairly plastice,
Your personality sucks,
I'll put you in your proper place,
'Cause I don't like you much.

Why are you so afraid of queers?
You think i'd steal your friends and best bud too?
Believe me when i say,
That's not something i would try to do,
Because i'm not a ***** like you.

I wish you'd understand me,
And didn't have so much crap to prove,
I'd really rather we be friends,
Instead of having different views.
There is no reason you should hate me,
I'm a person,
Just like you.

I have no shame,
It's all yours.
Say anything to me,
And then we'll see,
the taming of the shrew.

So what i'm trying to say is,
Haters,
I was born this way.

lesbian, transgendered life

That fun moment there,

One i'm sure you know,
You probably miss that piece all the time,
You're too busy kicking stones.

Now i'm at the end,

In my life,
I've got good friends,
What need have i of you?
