The Garden The smell of spring Drifts up to my face. The smell of roses, And lilies, And Queen Anne's lace. The sounds around me Come up to my ear, Bees buzzing, Birds chirping, I have nothing to fear. To my right stands a doe Grazeing without a care, Next to it stands its faun, Almost too cute to bare. I lay by the stream On a bed of tall grass, Dragonflys zoom by Swiftly and fast. I looked at my watch And sadly I knew That this wonderful day Was just about through. I started on home As the sun started to set And I knew that this day Would be one I never forget. -PlaceNameHere This is horrible... I was bored.... Oh well lol
A poem He sat by the fire Questioning his life he knew of the god but not of this place "Why am I here" says the young man "Where should I be?" A poem Not like the sun-washed land of the countryside Nor the bustling noise of the city I lift my hands up high Watching it snow, an inch at a time Here in my city, my country - FF A short poem.
"The Wind On The Fetch" I've chosen this life, Of solitude vow, To dance with the sea, Alone with my passion. To go with the tide, As a free soul, My vessel my castle, The sea as my guide. Up comes a wave, And we'll say heave, ho! Over she'll go, Soon to do battle gain. Whatever I lose, I can travel and find, I have all I want, So I'll just take it day by day. Whatever may happen, And however I stand, The wind on the fetch, Will carry me Home. We Will Remember Them - A Poem They fought and they died, For our country's pride. And now the lie dead, On their muddy bed. Their gift to us our freedom, A life that we live so dumb. Did they die in vain, What can we do to ease their pain. If we but stop and think, Of something we share, a link. We begin to see, They too have a right to be free. How can we save their souls, Cool their hearts a-grilling coals. A gift from us that none condemn, We will remember them. The Beast The Beast is here, It's always near, Born of your heart, The darker part, The part that you hide, Your other side, But now it's free, As meant to be, It rips, it claws, it burns, In it's pain it never learns, As it turns to it's victim, They know it'll kill them on a whim, This thing you've grown, Secretly you've known, That it's stronger than you, It won't do as you tell it to, As I watch it feast, I realise, you are the Beast. My Enemy Why can I not fight my enemy, Then I might be free, I know he's always there, Watching, waiting, the fox to the hare, An enemy I cannot touch, Yet a physical thing...as such, He plays on my strings, Uses me like a simple plaything, I turn, I look around in fright To face this creature of my night, He is not there, he never is, It seems as though my mind is his, Realisation hits like a swift dart, My enemy is my Heart.
This is just an ending sry bout spelling If the following statement is true And the previous statement is fals Then will you join me for a dance In this unrecoyted romance Again only an ending can't think of a beginning
