  1. Prolouge

    Blackness was all around, not a person in sight. I looked around, just for a light, but found nothing. It was almost as if I had fallen asleep, but was awake.

    Chapter 1: School

    My eyes flew open. I gasped, remembering the dream. I heard Mother calling, "Trixie! Get up!". I groaned, then got up and went to the bathroom to get my makeup on and do my hair. Now, my bathroom isn't spectacular, just quaint. It was cream-colored, with a mirror over a sink, and 2 lights above. I looked in the mirror and saw my reflection. Tanned, carmel brown hair, and sky blue eyes. I did my makeup, then went downstairs. I made my breakfast, then got ready for school. 1st period was History, so I was prepared to be bored. I looked at the time, fumbled for my backpack, then called, "Bye Mom! I'm heading to the bus!" I walked outside, closed the door, then walked to the bus station. The bus arrived, and we were whisked off to school, me having no idea of the terrible thing that was about to happen...

  2. She sat down on the bus, and saw a HOT guy walk up to her (In my opinion, she thought) and sit. He examined her, and she examined him. He was wearing blue shorts, light blue T-Shirt, had chocolate brown eyes, and had light brown hair. She herself was wearing a skirt, with a faded green shirt. He said, "Hey" and she replied saying the same thing. "What's your name?" "Trixie, yours?" "Walt", he replied. They both looked out the window, seeing the school, Truman School Of The Arts, an just before she had turned away, he saw the faint color pink on her cheeks.

  3. Chaos suddenly erupted when the bus stopped. Everyone was storming out the front, running to catch up with old friends, others making a break for the school. Trixie AND Walt both noticed this with the look of an eye. They both swarmed into the crowd, running for the school, racing each other. Her hair was flying behind her, and he thought she looked beautiful. Though he didn't let that distract him. They were both fast, and it was a photo-finish at the end. "See you around" said Walt. Trixie replied, "See ya" and turned and walked away, Walt catching the faint scent of lavender in the air. He walked to his locker, and saw his best friend waiting for him. "Hey Trent" he said. Trent replied, "It is clear that you like her" he said in a teasing voice. Walt punched him in the arm. "Okay, maybe a little". He opened his locker, grabbed his History books, then walked to class, not seeing Trixie walking behind him, blushing as she walked.

  4. During the middle of the boring History lecture, sirens started wailing outside the school. All the students saw the curl of smoke wisping down the hall, and Mr. Francis said, "Class, line up in orderly fashion! Quickly now!" They got outside, just as one window in the building was set ablaze. Firemen were working furiously to put out the large and spreading fire, and students were surging out of the building like a crashing wave. Walt caught hold of Trixie, and pulled her along to the end of the class, and said quietly, "I wonder how it happened" She replied, "I don't know, but it must have been serious", she said, glancing around at all the firetrucks, "And spreading" she added.

  5. After the fire was set out, to the great dismay of the students, one student was reported to be killed in the fire. Trixie saw her, and without another word, fainted on the spot, Walt catching her. He rushed to the front, and yelled, "Hey, I need some help!" He felt Trixie's pulse, and was alarmed to only feel a weak flutter. Some firemen came over, took Trixie from Walt's hands, and loaded her into an ambulance, and it drove away, leaving Walt hoping she would live.

  6. Chapter 2: Close To Death

    Trixie dreamed of the scene she had just witnessed. Her best friend, Lexie, was the one who had been reported dead. The last thing she remembered was strong arms catching her, someone yelling, then everything else faded.

    Trixie woke up, feeling groggy. She realized she was in a white room, a computer beeping next to her, a doctor leaned over her, and a tube connected to her chest. The doctor made a sigh of relief. "I'm glad your okay. Your friends thought you were dead." That alarmed Trixie, but she thought, Well, I'm still alive and then asked, "Where am I, and what happened?" "From what I'm told, said the doctor, you saw someone dead, then you fainted. Someone called Walt caught you and yelled for help. He checked your pulse, and he only felt a weak flutter. He seemed to care a lot about you" he added. She blushed a bit, then she asked the doctor, "When can I go home?" "If your up to it, now." She got up with the help of the doctor, and walked out of the hospital. Her mom was waiting in the car, an expression of relief clearly etched onto her face. She didn't say a word on the way home, and let Trixie fall asleep on her bed.

  7. More coming tommorow!

  8. Chapter 3: The Beach

    After her nap, Trixie walked down the stairs. She glanced at the clock, and it read 5:36 P.M. She looked around for her mom, and found her watching the news reporting the incedent at the Truman School Of The Arts. It showed all the footage of what happened, and she watched Walt catch her, call for help, then handed her over to the firemen, which afterward ended up her being loaded to the ambulance. She watched all of this in interest, and a little fear. When it came to the footage of Walt catching her, she had blushed a little. Her mom saw her and said, "Are you hungry sweetie?" Trixie replied, "A little. If you wouldn't mind fixing dinner." Mrs. Weatherbalm got up, and walked to the kitchen and turned the stove on. She just remembered as she said, "Trixie, Walt also stopped by while you were taking your nap, and left you a card." She handed it to Trixie, and she read it. "Hope you get to feeling better. Heard what happened." She closed the card, after noticing the XOXO and blushing. She said, "Mom, would you mind if me and a few of my friends went to the beach with Walt and some of his friends?" She replied, "Be back by 6:30." Trixie rushed to her room, called Walt, and waited for him to pick up. He answered. "Hello?" "Trixie, here." He replied, "Hey, what do you want?" She answered, "Call some of your friends. We're heading to the beach." Before he could respond, she hung up. She called Anna, Tanya, Ellie, and Tess. They all agreed to meet by the lamp post on Sun St., which was a five-minute walk to the beach. Trixie got in her bathing suit, and walked, heading for Sun St.

  9. By the time Trixie got there, Trent, Anna, and Walt were there. Walt told her four of his friends were coming. He introduced Trent to her, and saw a faint flash of emotion behing those pretty blue eyes. He said that the last three were Austin, Alex, and Jacob. She said she had also invited four friends. Anna and Walt had already met, so she said the remaining-to-be-seen three. Tanya, Ellie, and Tess. When they all arrived, the girls were linked arm-through-arm with their briefly, but love shining through, picked boyfriends. They all walked to the beach, and when they got there, everyone practiclly bounded for the water. Once everyone smelled the familiar salt ting in their noses, they splashed each other. After a while, while the boys had challenged some strangers to a volleyball game, and the girls were sunbathing, she checked her watch. It read 6:15. Trixie told her friends, she had to go. Text me later. Her friends understood, so Trixie made her way to say goodbye to Walt. She found them, said goodbye to Walt, and to his surprise, gave him a small peck on the cheek. "Good luck in the volleyball game. Win it for me." she whispered in his ear. She walked away, leaving Walt playing better than ever.

  10. When she arrived home, she showered, got changed, then walked downstairs, and ate the stew her mom had fixed. She took a sip and hummed a sigh of relief. Within minutes, she was done. She went upstairs to her room, got her phone, and started texting her friends, then after she was done, fell asleep....
    * * *
    She woke up, hearing a pinging sound on her window, then looked out the clock. 4:00 A.M.! She checked her phone, and found a text. "I'm outside your window. Need to talk urgently." It was from Walt. She got up, threw on a pair of clothes, then opened her window, seeing Walt on the ground. She lowered herself, then Walt caught her and set her on the ground. "Walt..." I stammered. "Shhhh." He said, "We need to speak at Trent's house." They walked to Midnight Avenue, and got to Trent's house. He opened the door, and Trixie stepped in. "Have a seat" said Trent. She sat down, and Walt and Trent did too. The room smelled of peppermint, the walls were a light shade of red, a fireplace in the middle, with a TV and some pictures above it. Without a word, Trent's hand caught fire, and he spiraled it to the fireplace, which lit up immediatly. "We know what you are" he said. Suddenly, he through a fireball at her. Instinct and training took over. She formed an air shield, stripping the fireball of oxygen, the flame immediatly dying out. "Impressive" said Walt. She gasped in horror, realizing what she had just done. She had reavealed her darkest secret!

  11. Walt's face remained impassive, as Trent's had a flicker of emotion again. She still couldn't guess it, like deja vu. "That's all" said Walt. Trent said, "Hey, do you wanna meet us out at Bonefish tonight for dinner?" "If so, bring your four friends, and me and Walt will do the same." "Fine" said Trixie, standing. She walked out, and Walt came out and caught up with her. It started raining, and Trixie was crying. Not a coincedence, thought Walt. "Hold up Trixie" said Walt. She was sobbing, and Walt gave her his jacket to protect her from the downpour. He wrapped his arm around her, and she laid her head on his shoulder, while Walt was whispering, "It's okay. It's okay." She stopped crying, and the rain stopped. She kissed Walt, then thanked him. She walked away, and so did Walt.

  12. Chapter 4: Flirting at Dinner

    Trixie woke up, and looked at the clock. 5:00 P.M. it said. She walked downstairs, already dressed, and walked to Bonefish. She met up with everyone else, and they walked in. Everyone had brought cash. They sat down, and everyone ordered their drinks.

    Walt's POV

    After Trixie arrived at Bonefish, they all walked in, sat down, and ordered their drinks. Trent started a conversation with Trixie, while Austin and Anna, the Double AAs, everyone called them, were talking with Jacob and Tanya and Ellie. Walt could tell, by zeroing in on Trent's words, that he was flirting with Trixie. Trixie didn't notice, and answered freely. Walt said, "Trent, can we go outside for a minute?" "Sure" he replied. They pushed in their chairs, and walked outside. Walt said, "Back off my girl!" Trent replied, "Hey, she's still on the market, because you havent properly asked her out." He said with a grin. Walt nearly lost it. "SHE'S MINE AND YOU KNOW IT!" "Jeez, said Trent, I'm not backing off. The first to get her to like them gets to ask her out. Deal?" "No, said Walt, she's mine." They both walked back inside, and Trixie whispered in Walt's ear, "What's wrong?" He replied, "I didn't like how Trent was flirting with you. Your mine." "Oh don't worry. He can flirt with me all he wants. I'll always be yours." and with that, she gave him a peck on the lips.

  13. Chapter 5: Dates With Boyfriends

    After Trixie arrived home from Bonefish, she went upstairs and fell asleep, feeling glad it was Friday.
    * * *
    Trixie woke up, then went downstairs. Her mother was working out, so she went over to Walt's house. She walked down President St. and found Walt's friends' cars parked there. Along with her friends' cars. She opened the door, and found everyone in the kitchen. "Trixie!" said Walt. He let her have his seat, and he stood. "Hey, Trixie, said Walt, would you like to go to prom with me?" Everyone gasped. Walt was holding out a ring! She said, "Yes, I will Walt." and accepted the ring. She walked over, kissed Walt right on the lips, then sat down again. Everyone was staring at her, even Walt. She calmly said, "Well? Are you guys gonna ask each other to prom or just sit there?" The talking immediatly resumed, and Trixie caught Trent giving Walt a long glare, while Walt bent down and kissed her. She smiled, life was good. She said, "See you guys at prom!" and left, wanting Monday to come faster.
    * * *
    She woke up, her mom telling her to come downstairs. She pulled on her shoes, high heels, and put on her dress. She dabbed on some makeup, then did her hair, then finally walked downstairs. Her mother said, "You look beautiful." Trixie sat down, ate her cereal, the grabbed her backpack and went outside, walking to the bus station.

    Walt's POV

    Monday finally came, and Walt was wide awake. He put on his tux, grabbed his dress shoes, put on deodorant, put in hair gel, then walked to the kitchen. "There's my handsome man." said Mom. He grabed his backpack, ate his cereal, then walked outside to the bus station. When he arrived, he saw Trixie. He nearly fainted. She looked so beautiful, so out-of-his-league. But she was his date to prom.

    Trixie's POV

    She arrived, then saw Walt. She though he looked handsomer than ever, good-looking in that tux with dress shoes, along with a tie. They both linked arms, then walked into the bus, driving to school. When they got there, they saw all the people going to prom dressed up FANCY. They linked arms again, Trixie kissed him, then they both left the bus, and walked for school, right into the gym. There was soft music, lots of couples
    already dancing. Walt and Trixie both put their hands on each other's waists, and danced. Trixie put her head on Walt's shoulder, and he kisse her on the forehead, so she lifted her head, and put it on his forehead. They danced, then finally ended up kissing. They both walked to get some punch, arm-linked-in-arm, and saw their friends. They had all ended up kissing too.

  14. Chapter 6: The Encounter

    Trixie was walking through the forest when she heard a snarl. She just kept walking, knowing she could easily protect herself. Now, before we go into details about what happened, here's some background info on Trixie and her school. Now, Trixie Weatherbalm is from a family of magicians. She has a large family tree, but sadly, one withered and died when she was eight. Her father had died of disease, so it was only her and her mother. Her school was actually a magic school, and the kids who went there had magic potential. This is where I said flaws would be fixed. I had to give false impressions, but now their true nature will be shown. So, back to reality, something leapt at Trixie, and immediatly hit a solid wall. She kept walking, and recieved a text from her friend, Tanya. She said, "Meet all of us at beach. Walt, Trent, and all their friends need us for some reason. Including Ellie and Anna." She typed in a reply, "Be there soon." then closed her phone. She started to sprint, seeing the end of the forest near. From there, sprinting, it would only take about 2 minutes to get to the beach. So she ran and ran, finally reaching the beach. Everyone else was already there. "Hey guys!" She said breathlessly, nearly fainting. Walt steadied her, then he looked at Trent. Trent cleared his throat, and said, "Since we are all you-know-whatsit, for some reason, the school is closing. Me, Austin, Jacob, and Walt believe a student is behind this." "We want to find out who." "Ooooh, said Tanya, adventure!" "Yeah, said Walt, and magic and sorcery is centered all around this." "Especially now, since because of love magic, he gave a sheepish grin to Trixie, it will boost our powers." "But how do we know ANYONE is behind this?" said Trixie. "Because, Walt said softly, traces of magic was found at the prom. Not normal magic either." "Then, said Ellie, let's hop to it!" "Yeah!" agreed everybody! They all made a sprint for the school, about to make a discovery that will change them forever...

  15. Chapter 7: Mystery

    Walt's POV

    By the time they reached the school, almost all the "students" were on campus. Probably searching for the culprit too.*Pauses book* As I'm going to be doing a lot, here's some background info on Walt. Now, Walt is also from a family of magicians. Large family tree, the usual. He has studied different types of magic; sorcery, Life, Healing, the usual. *Unpauses book* Back to reality, the DQG (Double Quad Group) were going in through the school, like the other students. Some students followed them as they progressed up to the gym. People were casting spells to try and dig up some clues. Some people, litterally "dig". They still progressed upstairs, with a lot of students trailing, when the faint odor of magic, the same from the gym, was leading up. So of course, our curious explorers went up. Then they encountered something vicious, never seen before, and behind it, was the culprit....

  16. Chapter 8: The Ending Of The Beginning

    Trixie's POV

    Disclaimer: Never seen before Ancient Greece, thought Trixie
    It looked like an anaconda, except human head, with vicious fangs dripping venom. It leapt at Walt, fangs preparing to bite. And ooooooh did it bite. Bit into solid wall. We all heard a wail from the creature, and we knew what to do, by looking at each other's faces. Walt, Trixie, Austin, and Anna walked to face the culprit. Trent, Tanya, Ellie, and Jacob stood firm to face off the serpent/man/thing. Trixie, Walt, and their crew launched a volley of spells. The man deflected one, but the rest rained down on him. Litterally. Meteors were streaking down, raining fire from above, while the Double AAs attacked from the ground. Jacob's group was doing exemplary at keeping the thing busy. They rained down on the culprit so hard, they actually managed to get magical bound cuffs on him. Also known as the Seven Ribbons Of Hathor. The all took the fight home then. The serpent wailed, and disintegrated, leaving everyone else dragging the man behind them to "Principal" Felix.

  17. After they handed the man titled Culprit over to Mr. Felix, they all went for the beach. When they got there, Walt and Trixie both sat down, and the water lapping at the shore was that of low tide...
