My build: - 18 T1L3 spy guilds (T1L4 = 900 million) - 1 T3L1 attack sub (T3L2 = 350 million) - 1 T1L3 def tower (T2L1 = 1 billion) - 4 more land to land completion (next land = 1.5 billion) - maintain 50-100 defensive and spy defensive potions in the first 6-8 categories - no attack or spy attack potions - currently about 600 million in allies - banking gold in allies - not using defensive potions as bank Current goals: - first land completion - convert all spy guilds to T1L4 Rationale: - I enjoy anonymity of successful spy steals - sub allows me to attack OSFs and maximize plunder - def tower helps with baseline defense and only uses 1 land Problem: - slow; I'm currently making about 4 million attacking OSFs and about 2-3 million on spy steals, which means about 300 actions to convert a guild to T1L4 (about 20 actions per play) - I currently play about once per day and more frequently on weekends and during plunder wars, so a few weeks to upgrade a guild! Questions: - I know plunder is key and lots of expensive allies increase plunder, so I will keep adding allies, but is my build flawed? How? - Should I abandon spy build and gradually convert my T1L3 spy guilds to T3L1 subs? - If I stick with spies and 1 attack building, how long will it take for my plunder bonus to increase? Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated! --Robapalooza Screen shot of center of kingdom: [img
Thanks. So, just to see if I understand your rationale: The tower gives me 40,000 defense, but you think the extra spy guild is worth the decrease in defense? Changing the sub to bestiary is for better defense in absence of def tower?
I was planning to upgrade T3L2 sub to T3L2 and eventually T3L3, T4L1 etc, but you interestingly suggest downgrading to a balanced T2 bestiary. What is the advantage of a weaker attack building in this spy build? If weaker is better (to prevent really strong players from attacking?) why not just use a T1L1 attack building?
You only get 4M a hit? I reset. I'm aiming for the same land you are. Only difference is I'm attack build… I get 8M a hit. All you need to do is use all you get in allies. Then when your total hit equals like 7-9M start upgrading. It's real slow other way.
600M in allies? That's nothing Robapalooza. You need 3B approximate if you want to move on with LC/BC.
So, what you gotta do is, invert all you get in allies, until you have around 3B in allies. When you get that, you start upgrading the guilds. Then you upgrade the sub. Then you work on LC, and finally, BC.
Tower doesnt give plunder and hardly anyone hits non osf so its useless for now T3 level 1 is worse than T2 level 3 The balanced attack buildings (stable, beastiary, and aviary) give you 2 extra hits per regen
Thanks for all your input. I re-read the stickied notes on spy, Hansel, mixed builds and plunder and ally bonuses. I killed the tower and added a 19th T1L3 soy guild and replaced the T3L1 sub with a T2L3 cathedral. Now my build goals are as follows: - 19 T1L3 guilds (next: T1L4 $900M) - 1 T2L3 cathedral (next: T3L3 about $1B) - 4 more until LC (next: $1.5B) - build up allies - maintain defensive potions - if I get successfully attacked too much, I'll either re-add a def tower or add another layer of def potions) Hopefully, this will max out my plunder/ally bonuses and accelerate the game. Any other suggestions are welcome.
If your problem is defense, definitely don't go with forges. Just get more def pots. Probably little need for your spy defense pots though.
