MANY people claim that all forges is the way to go.. No. The best build ive used and seen is by far my build. It is; 1 Guild/SoS 1War cath(or T3/4 equivalent) Then, keep an even ratio of 2:1 with beastiary:forge. (change for T3/4) cφΜΜεπτ ψηατ γδu τηιπκ
Yea, which is why this build is dominate over the forge build. And I used to use nothing but all forge or there t3/4 equivalent.
The build....... Sucks....... U broke rule number 1 in builds...... U mixed attack with defense building....
Forge/attack build used to be great because A. It gave higher attack, which is the quest stat, and B. Wars actually happened, and def pots are cheaper than attack pots. The actual plunder difference didn't matter too much. However, the pwar era popularized def/balanced builds, because people didn't need the attack stat and wanted more protection from the odd hit (lol, I know). Now, with pwars gone, the attack build may once again become valuable. I personally always favored attack when I wasn't a spy, because it really is easier and cheaper to stack up defense than add on attack. Plus farming is fun.
Too many builds today are designed with maximizing plunder in mind. I mixed titans and foundries. I'm also mixing in towers. This build hurts plunder but makes a pretty decent war machine.
@ darth grave, guess like ppl aren't alone breaking the ultimate rule of builds, no mixing attack with def builds.
Exactly: plunder didn't used to be everything. People used to war for--no, I'm not joking--for fun. Plunder was a bonus. And quests were for xtals. Then, pwars, and you know... Yeah.
@ toast I know. Plunder was pretty much the main thing after pwars. Hansel builds (though they have value in war, but ppl put it with def build), pure def, etc
Why did you mix titans and foundries? I hope you didn't do it on purpose... Why? Titans Lair + Cursed Foundry 78,672 / 103,680 + 103,560 / 68,640 = 182,232 / 172, 320 (354,552 comb) Circle of Elements + Circle of Elements 94,744 / 94,744 + 94,744 / 94,744 = 189,488 / 189,488 (378,976 comb) This shows that not only would plunder be better.. but stats too. It's not a big deal if you mixed them because you wanted more defense, or more attack etc. But it makes no sense to be purposely choosing Titan+CF, instead of CoE+CoE. Unless you just like seeing different colours.
Hansel is actually a fun build. You can spy farm people til a wandering villager, all while nob farming. Then watch as they get mad that they can't hit you, and sometimes even watch their clanmates get mad once they break ToU on your wall and get reported. ;P
