  1. There are lots of jargon words and terms used in KaW and they can be quite confusing especially if you are new to the game. Here's a list of some of the main terms used, feel free to let me know if I missed anything by using the feedback tab on the left thanks.

    'DTW'
DTW stands for 'Defender Too Weak', you can't attack them as they are too weak compared to your forces. This can happen if a player is attacked repeatedly.

    'farm'
A farm is a player that has no or weak defences and can be attacked and plundered without much risk of the farmer losing. It is generally accepted in the game that if you attack someone more than 5 times then your are farming them.

    'hansel'
A hansel is a build type that sacrifices attack and defence strength for spying ability, ie they build a lot of guilds etc.

    'Health Crystals'
Health Crystals are awarded for completing a group of quests and can be used to fully regenerate your army. To use them go into the marketplace and then the oracle.

    'MP'
MP or "Max Plunder" refers to when a player has sufficiently valuable allies that they are receiving the maximum plunder bonus that they can achieve. You can work out your own MP by using the Max Plunder Calculator,

    'Multi'
A player who has more than one account is a multi, technically it's against the rules but this doesn't seem to be enforced.

    'noob'
A new player to the game, widely used on the net.

    'OSF'
This stands for "Open Secret Farm" and is usually a duplicate/multi account that is kept purely for raiding, It can also mean Open Spy Farm, meaning open for spy attacks only

    'OSW'
    Off System Wars (strip wars)

    'Pinned'
Pinned or pinning refers to attacking someone constantly so they are too weak to do anything, they will eventually
become 'defender too weak' or ' dtw'.

    'pots'
"Pots" is an abbreviation for "Potions" and refers to any of the items available in the marketplace. Some Epic Battles require certain potions/devices to be used to win.

    'Silenced'
If you spam the chat rooms you can be silenced. Spam is posting the same thing more than twice in five minutes and if you get silenced it is for 24 hours until you can post again. Get silenced for a third time and it is permanent! Do not post racist, sexually explicit or any other content that could be considered against the conditions of a game aimed at those above the age of 9.

    'volley'
Volleying is the repeated hiring of an ally by two or more players. Each time a player is hired they gain a percentage of gold equal to 5% of their hire value but this is capped at 1,000,000 and the player who has the ally hired away from them also receives a percentage of gold.

    'WC'
This stands for "World Chat" and is the main chat room for the game, you need speakers to be able to post.
