Hey kaw! Faithless coming atcha This is my first forum. Please be respectable & know that I don't understand all the codes and how to make a professional forum. I was thinking last night about a new war system. A mix between player vs player, and the wars we have now. My thought was that once or twice a week a pvp war would come out. The rewards of this being event rewards and mithril. How the pvp war would work is the same as how wars work now. you go to your profile and sign up. You leave your clan before it starts. Instead of being matched and put into a clan. You remain clanless and the other 'pvp war' players will show up in your battle list. So let's say two teams of six player. Six on my team ( let's call my team faith). Six on the rival team (let's call them kaw devs) My team is completely anonymous to me, I only see the (kaw devs) other six players on my battle list. We can sign up for 2,6,12h pvp wars. At the end the system will add up gold/ hits and determine a winner. I like this idea, we can't have moles or planning, it's just about being active and pounding each other. If you support this or have ideas on how to improve this idea. Show your support below Thanks faith
I like were you are going with this. The only downside I see is people signing up and then being inactive, and since you can't see who your team is there is no way to hold them accountable.
That's why there is a activity limit, if the player signs up & let's say they are inactive 30 minutes before pvp war, they get kicked off the matching and a player will replace them. Plus the system can punish them somehow. Maybe a -15% plunder spell for 3 days or something.
30 minutes into it maybe? It would still require a non matched player to be available to fill the spot, which means you'd have to have players signed up sitting around clanless that weren't already matched up. The definite plus to the system you describe is when all matches are set there won't be entire clans of players left without matches, but possibly only one account as odd player out.
30 minutes into it. then they get kicked & receive a -15% or 30% plunder reduction spell. Would that be a good idea? Also yes that is another problem I'm trying to solve. I personally would rather see one player unmatched instead of a whole clan. I'm not sure how to solve the missing player problem though, that's why I was thinking of such a harsh penalty if you flake on your team. Make it so either they sign up and stay active or just don't sign up at all Another thought is five minutes Before war, you would have to be active, or the system will re-match, which would cause different number of players on each team. But this wouldn't be a issue, I don't think because the rewards would be the same.
A plunder reduction spell is a great idea for inactivity! Possibly having 10% of signed up accounts have a 30 minute delay to start, so they can be used to fill in the inactive slots for the other 90%. Once that 30 minutes is up they will be put on teams and matched up if they haven't been used to fill, and the remainders are then added to existing teams if enough aren't left to create new teams. Always a possibility of one person being the odd one out, but they can be given a plunder increase spell or some other reimbursement.
He nice thing about this system is you could have one warring group be a 7vs7, another a 4vs4, and any combination needed to match everyone up.
I like this concept. I like the plunder increase spell or reimbursement also. It would make it so no one is upset. I think this would work good
