Give buffs to "dead" game mechanics

  1. Problem: The game right now has a lot of unused mechanics that haven't been used in years. This is solely because of how little reward they give compared to EBs.

    Mechanics in question:
    • Wars (regular wars between two clans)
    • Attacking other players
    • Quests

Why we should change it: It would be enriching to the game if there were multiple paths to growth rather than just EBs. Bringing these mechanics back into the meta would reintroduce playstyles that haven't been seen in KaW since its hayday.

Proposal: Increase the payout for quests, attacking other players, and war victory by 100%. Since attacking other players carries risk of retaliation, it would make sense for the payout to be greater than an EB.

This would be a relatively easy change as it only requires changing the payouts.

  2. This would also help with some issues related to new accounts and social connections.

Currently, the meta is to always have your account in a clan that is running an optimal EB for your account size. Meaning as a new account, 95% of clans are off-limits to you since you can't hit their EB. It would also reduce the issue of "outgrowing" your clan, where fast-growing clan members end up leaving because they need a larger EB to grow.

  3. Insufficient backing so NO support. I believe we should only run epic battles 2 days a week; Saturday and Sunday, reserving the remaining five days exclusively for player-versus-player encounters and quest pursuits. This elegant restructuring has been the subject of considerable support throughout the years.
