You know, right now I live in a big city. I was earning 6 figs at some stage but was really miserable. Whenever I look at skyscrapers, I always see the penthouse and I find it fascinating. What would be required to attain such high levels of status? What actionable steps could I take to acquire such status? What would I need to change about myself to reach such heights? What knowledge would I need to attain to achieve this goal? How much does someone living at a penthouse earns a year? Would they be a c level executive? Could I achieve C level status or develop something/s people would pay me money for? I have outrageous goals, like to reach 130K, 150K, 200K or higher a year. Earn as much as humanly possible. But there's my moral compass that doesnt want to step on other people to get there. But I know people of that level are calloused and have to possess some level of disinterest in others. But it's this side of me that I am at war with. Do I need to lose my humanity to chase this ambition? I think what I want to ask, what do you think about ambition? Is it something to be praised or shunned? Is it necessary to lose part of your humanity to chase the highest goals possible? Also is it necessary to extend your knowledge as far as possible to reach this goal or can a dummy head live in a penthouse? I don't think Joe Mama from a small town who cant rub two stones together would be able to achieve it right? Open discussion.
