The Sword of Souls The Usurper King has returned! After the destruction of Caer Sidh Castle, the now resurrected Jääkäärne seeks to regain his full power contained within an ancient crypt. Can you stop Jääkäärne before he reaches the inner crypt? This event consists of a primary Legend and an extra Legend available immediately, as well as a set of three side-Legends that will unlock the day after with 2000 collection items. These side-Legends will offer players a choice of Easy, Medium, or Hard. The rewards increase with each difficulty level, but so does the challenge. Players WILL be able to complete each level once the previous choice has been completed. Regularly scheduled competitions will also run for the duration of the event. This event will be available from Wednesday, May 15th until Wednesday, May 29th, 2024 at noon PT. Soul Siphoning Tome Upgrade Players have started to unlock the power of the Soul Siphoning Tome, however there is now a choice to make if you wish to continue to power it up. Which one will you choose? Players who have a Level 4 Soul Siphoning Tome will now be able to purchase a Scorching Crystal Activator or Frigid Crystal Activator from the Marketplace (you must have your Soul Siphoning Tome not equipped to purchase). The Scorching Crystal Activator will transform your Tome into a Smoldering Soul Tome providing more Attack and Defense stats while the Frigid Crystal Activator transforms your Tome into a Frosted Soul Tome focusing on Spy Attack and Defense. Each Tome can be upgraded 5 times and Tomes are still upgraded with Crystal Cultist Skull that are found in Soul Siphoning Chests and Royal Soul Siphoning Chest obtained from daily quests, Competition rewards or EB drops. Competitions For the duration of The Sword of Souls, there will be a PVE and PVP competition running. The first PVE Competition instance starts at 1:00pm Pacific Time, and the first PVP Competition starts at 5:00pm Pacific Time. Each instance will last 4 hours and as soon as one competition instance ends, another will begin.
