The Scourge Beneath Us An explosion rocks the palace from below. Suddenly, a surge of demons bursts forth from the catacombs, burning and pillaging everything they touch. You must stop the source of this demonic scourge and save the outlying towns before it's too late! This event consists of a primary Legend and an extra Legend available immediately, as well as a set of three side-Legends that will unlock the day after with 2000 collection items. These side-Legends will offer players a choice of Easy, Medium, or Hard. The rewards increase with each difficulty level, but so does the challenge. Players WILL be able to complete each level once the previous choice has been completed. This event will be available from Wednesday, May 31st until Wednesday, June 14th, 2023 at noon PT. Exclusive Furnishings Furnishings exclusive to The Scourge Beneath Us will be available in the Furnishings Shop, Diabolical Box, and Royal Diabolical Box. Blitz Competitions and Collectathon For the duration of The Scourge Beneath Us, there will be 3 alternating Competition, from Wednesday, May 31st noon Pacific Time until Wednesday, June 14th, 2023 at 8:00 AM Pacific Time. PVE (Epic Battles) Blitz PVP Blitz Collectathon The duration of the PVE and PVP Blitz Competitions are 2 hour each, and occurs every 3 hours. When a PVE or PVP Blitz Competition is not running, a 1-hour long Collectathon will run. The first Blitz instance will start at 1:00pm, Pacific Time on Wednesday, May 31st. Players will have a chance to earn gold, resources and main event collection items from reaching point tiers as well as Gold Bars, Pallumen Plates and Diabolical Boxes from Leaderboard placement at the end of each competition. To earn points, you will need to perform eligible actions WITHIN the duration that the competition instance is running. NOTE: For the duration of this event Weekend PvP will not be ran while we continue explore ways to improve the PvP experience for our players.
Competition rewards are still horrible and not worth it. Bring back the decent amount of trader tokens. This time y’all making the eb competition all about premium items… att/ass don’t count. That’s greedy trying to force players to use premiums for Rewards that are close to nothing. The small changes y’all do make seem to only hurt the KaW community. I have hope that you guys will see what we want/need and make the right changes.
Only 37 people qualified for EB LBs. Mind you it’s the first one of the new event AND there was a blitz on.
you had to of collected the event items themselves to qualify for points there. Either by opening chests or combining the two separate drop items.
Looks like they fixed the actions not counting towards points for the epic battle part at least. But the collection event still alienates any non hoppers or clan loyalists to have to time a completion of an eb as well as have the items needed to combine for the event items to collect points during that short competition timeframe.
I said it before but devs don't listen. If they don't give some support to the players who do the grind on the ebs, these people are going to stop playing or start hopping. And then what is left? Nothing much. Sad move from devs. What's more competition rewards aren't great.
