We are only on chapter 3 of a four month long event, you think it's different events but it's just the one, they give breaks in between chapters occasionally to have aqua events and give up upgrade materials No one is forcing events on you just play the game
The only thing that bothers me about the events is that with only a few days left, people don't let Admins know what they need, they just jump to another clan. But that's really not the devs problem. If you are unable to get on enough to hit the big EBs, maybe go to a different clan that will help you out
