Converting Equipment to Inferno/Aqua

  1. The devs keep on spitting out events back to back. And with each new event better and better equipment. Thus, epic battle equipment and past events' equipments are becoming obsolete. Each and every new equipment requires more and more aqua and inferno. And the amount the players get from the event will only get players to maybe third to fourth level enchantment if they are lucky.

    So, I propose that past equipment can be converted into inferno/aqua. Let's say base equipment get a fixed amount of inferno/aqua depending, of course, on how good the equipment is, and each enchanted level 25% inferno/aqua return.

    While I am one the topic of converting equipment to inferno/aqua, why don't we do the same for psion? For people that do not know what psion is, psion is the thing used to enchant equipment from the lure of the hive event. For many people that participated in the event psion is just sitting in our inventory collecting dust.

    TL;DR: Let the players convert equipment into inferno/aqua.

  4. I still believe the black smithing option would be nice and I'll tell you why.

    To be able to combine equipment for a new equipment would be cool. Not just the fact that it would become a new equipment, but more for its end result. If each piece of item carries a % of its stats when transformed into a new piece well well that would do something awesome.

    Every player would be able to smith a new piece of equipment and depending on what they are combining, the stats would be different for each player being they are combining different equip for a single slot.

    This means everyone could have let's say a smithed level one legs but stats would be different for everyone depending on what they smithed with their legs to begin with.

    Having this would be awesome due to the fact that those that have the new smithed equip would have different stats not the same stats as everyone else as of now with everyone getting the same equip.

    This I think would do quite a bit for the equipment area of kaw.

Yes a good idea but a programmer's nightmare,unless you want the same picture of the primary piece used or just a grey outline.Think of the combinations that could be involved plus the diff lev's and stats for each piece of equipment trying to design new graphics for each new piece would take yrs.
     
  6. I would only do 2 variations of the new equip artwork wise. One for once it's level up to 5 and one for up to 10. As for the many different types I wouldn't go all out doing different art just 2 for rings and one for every slot. It's been smithed so one art would show that. Besides who knows how long the smithed equip would hold out with today's event equipment.

    As for levels just each level is assigned a base % for each level after the two equip stat % have merged to create the stats for the new equip.
