Hello, and welcome to this thread! 2016 is now coming to an end, and I thought we could take a quick look at what has happened the past year in KaW. The year started of with the continuation of the Lay of the Rimelands events, giving more players an opportunity to get an event banner. In addition, in the end of January, the developers released clan roles, along with the ability to mute in clan chat and change clan name. The forum for mobile devices also got a revamp at the start of the year, with a brand new design. Features like reporting posts and seeing if people are online in the forums were also added. The existing developer accounts revealed their real names: Grant, Miles and Bruce. We also got more developer accounts throughout the year: Mark, Mario, Jodie, Clarke, Drake, Marceline, Mike, Garnet, Jordan, Ellie, Charlie, Gregory, Zelda, and Winston. And in July, we had an AMA for the first time, where Charlie answered many of the players' questions. In the end of March, we got a new set of lands, the Osmon Rai lands, making it possible to have more than 500 million combined stats in total, both liked and disliked by the players. Half a year later, ten new levels were added, making it possible to have more than one billion combined stats! We also got two new permanent epic battles this year: Ghomorax of the Highlands in the Wrath of the Sveruganti series, and The Labyrint of Zoma in the new Marrox the Confined series. HTE also got an optional bar, available for a limited time only. During the Summer, there was an event with ten parts, where you could collect and upgrade banners. In the end of June, the Season 6 Wars started, with only Lowland wars. A month later, the All Star Wars 2016 started, making it possible for players to bet on the team they thought would win. The winners were the Olive Officers, and was rewarded with a specially designed ASW banner. Many players were complaining about that events have become very repetitive, and the devs tried to mix it up a little bit. Along with a new type of event, The Sleeper of Elrengoth Forest, the limited time epic battle series The Old Man of the Forest was released. Not long after, we had The Oracle Queen's Decree event, where the community chose Zelgarad the Accursed. We also got new 25k and 40k reward tiers. Throughtout the year, we have got some changes and new features in the game. We got the Nobility Offers (although they're not always working), a feature that made it easier to reply in chats, changes to the Chargehand role, Lucky Fortune Boxes, and new potions. Why would they need new mods? The game is getting smaller by the year. There is no people to enforce the rule on. So, why not let us be wild one last time ?
I don't really get why people believe this, the game is not getting "smaller" at all. There's still 20 k+ people who are actually active on kaw according to the events.
