The End of HTE and What to do about it

  1. So we all know as new lands, new levels, new epic battles come out that HTE is dwindling. Each new Epic Battle pays closer to HTE making HTE less worth it to many potential spenders. This creates a problem for ATA. So they have stopped this trend by slowing new EB releases and just adding building levels. This creates another problem as bigger people hitting HTE meant it lasted only a few minutes. This also has led to less bothering to spend money on HTE.

I believe ATA has ignored this issue in part because many clans still do B2B HTE and are doing more then ever before. The problem is many HTE owners and admins are forced to spend more to continue doing B2B and it is my belief that eventually B2B clans will dwindle away and most will go for LOTL and GOTH.

So how should ATA fix this? They could simply add bars or difficulty to HTE to make it last longer but I think that only a short term solution. They could make a new eb that is similar to haunt but way harder with main bar being all items so it's good cash for large players/clans.Then they could do a pay eb that pays 3x more and cost like $10 so it'll last a while.
Many clans have long quit doing HTE because it's not worth their effort. When old man ebs came many of these clans did B2B Old Man ebs which prove to me that these large clans want to spend money but simply have nothing good to spend it on.

Feel free to add your own ideas and perhaps add what would get you reaching into your pocket to buy.

  2. Only solution is to increase payouts and length of ebs to keep their relevance

  3. Which ebs?

  4. Premium ebs

  5. Sorry, but you're wrong. I make way more on HTE than GOTH/LOTL especially considering how quick HTE go depending where you are. Do I think HTE could use a revamp? Yes. But it's not likely to happen. There have been many forum posts about this. The only thing that happened was the optional bar that they rarely activate.

  6. Thanks for your observation! Do you consider it hte lasted under 5min that it would still be worth it?

  7. Well imo the devs should be looking into making pvp more interesting. Maybe up what u get per hit on other players or maybe put together a whole other system type wars only its like Osw. Only difference being u can add and subtract clans and keep a counter of gold stripped and gold lost. A list of people who left(cf) or clans that left(cf)
    I don't know about anyone else but I could give a **** about eb's.
Sorry of this is off topic lol

  8. Lignabelua of the Lowlands: The Escape

    Problem solved.

  9. How much would it cost?

  10. $30

  11. Boom there you go, make it last twelve seconds and automatically make you BC and unlock a new set of lands, people will eat it up.

  12. 80$

  13. When hte came out everyone was a lot smaller and the eb lasted longer because of this , the devs need to add more bars to hte ,now my clan can do it in 3mins whats the point of that, come on devs sort it out ,a lot spend on this game

  14. You realise the inflation will only get worse right if u do 3x more than this. Smh

EDIT: what I do have to say is that I can do hte with 3 of my accounts and finish it lol. Additional bars would be good.

  15. Then why keep paying and running them.

  16. Guess it didnt end after all..... more hte today than has been in weeks lmao

  17. tldr, but give the devs 20 million usd

  18. New lands and increased difficulty in eb is the best thing y'all can do

  19. I have proposed this before and I'll say it here. They should change the damage for hte to an ambush style. Meaning that everyone, no matter how big you are, does a set amount of damage. That way people that are build complete or close, don't finish ebs in 5 min

  20. The devs tried to address the larger players spending with battle cry.
5 minute hte may not earn a lot individually at certain sizes. But it earns lots for the clan as a whole.

Yes it needs the new bar to become a permanent feature.

But it is really only worth while to either smaller players as individual ebs. Or as part of a train or as access to an hte clan.

The biggest shame is that it's supposed to benefit the whole clan. Now kingdom sizes have become so large that it is restrictive against its true value.

Personally I would introduce a new pay to playe eb that is 3x the length at least, priced at the current 59 nobility.
    Hte dropped to 29 nobility
And rotwb dropped to 10 nobility.

In fact ideally I would have the new eb at 50 nobility so that small single purchases could be use by more casual players rather than making them feel like they need to make either two nobility purchases for one eb or buy a much larger pack ( which may appeal on Black Friday to many. But not the rest of the year)
Making the price and reward more appealing would open up to more casual purchases.
The faster the whole community grows the faster the emphasis is taken away from growth non stop and the more war can be achieved.

People don't like risking wars ( pvp ) due to risk of being left behind. Especially in events.
Remove some of that risk with purchases priced to reduce the losses and enable rapid growth and the focus can be redirected at mass chaos and carnage with wars caused for whatever the heck reason people want.
