Dear devs, Before you ask us to spend on Black Friday, what is your plan for the game in 2017? The community would like to know if we should continue to spend on a game that's looking for new and innovative ways to grow itself, or should we ride it out like the last few months of GAW. I think this is a fair demand from the community. A general roadmap of what's to come. I won't be making any significant investment without a clear picture of what the game will look like over the next year or so. The community has lost many long time players over the last few years, and they haven't been replaced by new players at the same rate. The general feeling around the game is that it's on the way out. We just want an idea of how to plan for the future. We are eagerly awaiting your response. Thanks. -ZERO
They will never do another roadmap on forums. Last time was a disaster. I say they need to grow those dev accounts and instead of events, we farm them for drops
Support. I personally just wanna know if this game will be still running in a year or two. Don't really a care for a roadmap because i know they won't give us one ^_^
I support this, however devs have addressed roadmaps and things of that nature before, and their response made a lot of sense. The developers are hesitant to do anything like this because their priorities and ideas tend to shift. They don't follow through with a lot of the things they say they're going to do, ending up with even more disappointment from the community. I'd love to see a roadmap, but I can understand their unwillingness to do so.
Bingo. The priorities do shift and what ideas may be in the pipeline currently could well be scrapped. Announcing this would cause unhappiness in the community if an idea is found to be unfeasable or just never released. I would be astounded if a roadmap was released again
@moody They can release a road map with the understanding that it's not set in stone. Bouncing their ideas off the community makes a lot more sense than implementing changes and then facing backlash that could have been avoided. Obviously you can't please everyone with new releases, but you can satisfy the majority of players with multifaceted developments in the game. A road map for land and building releases would be nice. Along with some statistical analysis of the CS of the community as well as the number of new players the game is successfully recruiting and retaining. The community just doesn't want a series of money grabs if the game is headed down the same road as GAW. The devs could provide some certainty for the future of the game by providing a general vision of what's to come. Specifics will change, that's a given.
While I like the idea of a plan being published I don't expect it to because traditionally the developers have used data to decide what to implement next. Posting stats on player retention would be a terrible idea. It would cause a number of players to look at that negatively and look elsewhere for their mobile entertainmeny (or in my case pooping entertainment). I personally would like to see a focus on advertisement. New players would allow people a lot the opportunity to war with them, do events, socialize and above all increase inflation
I havent spent for 2 months now. I'd be willing to throw a few dollars during black Friday to make up for lost time. But without knowing the future of KaW, really makes it hard to want to go back to spending money.
They could just release a list of what they're looking at doing within the next 12 months with no set timescales or anything set in stone. Giving a preview of Black Friday is just business common sense, if you leave it too late people won't have money sidelined for it.

Good one Tiger. I think that's the whole point of my post. If there aren't any plans other than money grabs, let us know so we can move on to another game. It's not the money, it's the content we get for the money.
