Your castle has been destroyed

  1. Castle: 5,000,000 hp

    If a player has no allies to protect the castle and no gold for repairs, the castle starts taking damage. (you don't have to spend gold to repair because it won't take damage until the kingdom is stripped and cleared)

    If a castle gets destroyed it can be rebuilt anytime for 5,000,000 gold. (destroying a castle pays 500,000,000 base gold plus a percent bonus based on the size of combined stats for increased difficulty)

    While a castle is destroyed the kingdom can not be traded on the ally market, it's removed or shows broken flag/banner, and remains dtw to attacks temporarily until a castle is built or performs any action like coming out of knock out in a war (to prevent an exploit of being able to attack people while staying permanently dtw to incoming action)

    If a castle is not rebuilt in time, after 6 months the kingdom is fired (as an ally) and owner gets 70% refund for the ally, the owner will want to destroy the castles of inactive allies for the bonus gold and higher refunds.

    Every week a kingdom has no owner the hiring price is reduced by 5%, until a castle is rebuilt it can not be sold or hired, ally market will not show kingdoms with no castles or show a broken flag/banner.

    Ally market will end up reflecting more and more active kingdoms as people collect the rewards for destroying castles, and if they come back to the game later they will see "your castle has been destroyed, hurry up and rebuild" then they could get a volley after a castle is rebuilt and the rest of us get to volley them back up for profit, depending on the stats this could be very good volley.

    For every castle destroyed achievement is earned, with each level of achievement (1-5) earns a % bonus to the health of your castle, for max of 200% health to your castle for destroying 250 castles.

    As people strip allies from the enemy in osw, 1v1, pvp event, or your own inactive allies, you will want to deliver the final kill shot to get the gold reward and achievement (all while being the owner) and also they (who funds the strip) will be stuck with those allies (good bfe or not) until those are stripped also or destroyed and fired/refunded and the process repeats, what ends up happening as a result is ally market reflects only active kingdoms that have a castle, inactive allies who are stripped and farmed out of the game temporary by their owner or enemy and we get great underpriced allies to fight over when they come back and rebuild, also while destroying the castle everyone attacking it for the bonus gold and achievements will aslo want to be the owner before the kill shot (forcing another volley) If they don't rebuild in a year devs can clean up the server by deleting them and everyone is happy.

    Edit based on replies :
    castle would need minimum hit range so new players aren't being destroyed or fresh alts.
    Also a 7 day cooldown or protection period from time of rebuild so as is not farming destroyed castles everyday.

    Purely because it'd be fun to have more imaginative things in KaW.

    Like TFO is probably the most imaginative EB...
     
  7. The only problem I see from this idea, is someone can make an alt, volly it to a T and destroy its castle. Then the owner will be un-strippable until he or she decides to rebuild the castle.
    That would pose a problem in osw. Also, the deleting accounts idea. The DEVS stopped doing this awhile ago due to complaints from bigger accounts. They won't reimplement something that was already voted out.
    Other than that, the basic concept of this idea is to boost pvp and I like to see players push for it.

  8. Not a bad thought but terrible consequences.
    Consider this;
    What if people start knocking out small inactives that new players own to stay at MP? They will be making very little gold from not have any ally bonus, making it very difficult to grow. This would lead them to quit. The same cycle applies to any new players (as opposed to the few we have a shot at keeping now).

    This would mean only the current players would still be here. Oh and since bigger players have the means to afford and volley up actives, small to mid players who currently play won't be able to hold their allies, resulting in them possibly quitting (since accts with broken castles won't be able to be hired and they cannot afford the high prices actives). Repeat the above cycle here.

    So not only are you eliminating any chance of new players, but also reducing the current player base.

    Oh and as for people would be volleying allies, wanting to become owner before the ally's castle is knocked out, that's not gonna happen. Consider an ally currently at 970b. If someone hires just before knockout, they would be spending roughly 1T. Due to the 70% return, they would have invested 300b more into the ally than they got back. The 500m knockout bonus is negligible. This happens in every case because of the refund percentage stated, it would be a loss for the owner (unless the ally was very low cost)
     
  9. I just like the idea of destroying someone's castle, don't need no reward or anything.
    Having them needed to rebuild it, Cus of me is satisfaction enough.
     
  10. It's a good idea, but I think how much gold is won should be determined by player size and amount of allies stripped. Like it someone who is BC and has 250t in allies is stripped, I think the successful player to take out the castle should receive a percentage of that. 10% I would say.
     
  11. The 500m would not be per hit, only after the castle is destroyed, 5m hit point would take 1 player a while to kill on his own, I make 750m per hit on goth, so spending few hours trying to kill a castle only for gold would not be productive.

  13. Support to something like this - would make the game much more interesting. Changes like this would help breath new life into this game, which is now essentially Kingdoms At Upgrade.

  15. How about it only applies to people with a level 3 castle, that way noobs aren't pelted
