Naming who has rejected new members

  1. At present, when we are kicked from a clan the notification to let us know we've been kicked states which admin did so.

Would anyone else like to know which admin has rejected your join request?

This feature would be particularly useful in instances of untrustworthy, rogue admins rejecting new members out of spite.

  2. Personally, I think this shouldn't be a big issue. Admins usually kick and reject new applicants for a reason.

    1) Too low in cs, didn't meet cs requirement.
    2) Not part of the family - some clans only accept only family members or through invite only.
    3) If it is an OSW clan - for certain clans eb hunters are not welcomed.
    4) Inactivity (Common reason.)

You can just reapply back in after being kicked or rejected. By the way, you won't know who rejected you if its applying to a clan, unlike being kicked from the clan!

Though, there is something I feel that is bothering me that I'd like to bring my thoughts up.

There was a clan who had only 66 members in the roster. I applied, and the admins said "Clan full." Seriously, they have 34 free slots and this is the answer they gave to me:
    "Clan Full."

If it is 10 free slots or below that's understandable, have members out for br/war, but 34 is just insane. The admins might as well should just list down all the member names out either in the Clan Page or tell us personally.

Tell us, or tell me at least why do you have to reserve that many slots.

How can they possibly reserve so much? Think about it. A ton more people looking at that clan thinks there is free spot to apply. The admins would then have to do a lot more work rejecting applicants here and there without disabling join requests because of returning family members.

  3. I think owner should have access to a log that has all updates made by an admin. Who accepted an account, who rejected one, who updated titles, who updated CA etc. That would help owners keep track of who is doing what. Particularly given the limited roles. We don't want to waste it on someone who doesn't use it.

I don't believe the admin should be named when you're rejected. Unless it's only for the owners eyes.

  4. I think most owners would go insane with that amount of information bombarding their newsfeed. They do, if I remember correctly, get feed of when someone is kicked. Don't think they'd really want more of this added.

  5. I like this

  6. I think Id go insane

  7. The reason I've mentioned it is because, as mentioned before, rogue admins that are rejecting perms or in our case it's been people with active passes in an hte clan.

I get that it's easy enough to keep reapplying until someone let's you in but would be nice to know which admin is abusing their role.

  8. The owner isn't informed of who is kicked. The kicked member gets a notification of who kicked them.

  9. It doesn't have to be in their news feed.

Have a completely seperate tab where owners can view when they want to. Or ignore it completely if they're not interested.

  10. Owner should be able to see this. But not the person who is rejected.

  11. Good idea! I support this!

  12. Perhaps not the rejectee but someone should have access to the information... warlords & war chiefs maybe?

  13. I would like for news feed to show who accepts or rejects a applicant! Also would be nice to see if someone enables or disables join request! But it would be helpful to see who accepts/rejects join request, since different clans do have requirements for people like mcs and so forth! It already shows who applies in news feed and when they are accepted so adding who accepted them into what's already implemented shouldn't be to hard! I don't think the person rejected should necessarily get a notification as that could cause other problems!

  14. Couldn't we have a WC update stating player X was rejected by player y from clan z? Lol

Never know it could liven up wc on its slow days :)

Serious note: kicks and rejections wouldn't hurt to be sent to owners nf.

After all the owners are in the shadows when they don't know what's happening and by who?

  15. No thanks. Too much hassle

  16. SUPPORT. But no notifications, just a button for the owners who wish to check the log. Went well in other clan-based games.

  17. Support

  18. Ruggy's modification to the original idea sounds good. Support in that form.

  19. I support 100%.. Nobody should be able to reject me anonymously.
