Off System PvP and Events upgrade.

  1. Now, this idea isn't to get more players to do it, it's to help players that already do it. There are also worries about coding as well as players abusing the system so my idea actually fixes that as well.

    It's simple in nature and it is also and upgrade feature that will help all players universally.

    Idea

    Currently events drop items from Epic Battle completion and EE wins. With a weekend of PvP off system if you cast a spell.

    The PvP weekend really does nothing to coax all off system players to actually cast because you are also giving your enemy a chance to gain rewards as well. Players still do it to get something shinny, but it's not ideal for a lot of warriors.

    The idea is this:
    Introduce random event drops to all actions.
    Attack and Steal have the greatest chance of drops, Assassinate will not be far from those two and Scout's drop rates will be far lower than the others. This is simply based around the mechanics of the game with troop and spy loss per action.

    Now, these random drops should not just happen for PvP, they should happen across the board. Rather it is from Epic Battles, EE, or Off System PvP, to even Quest and old school wars.

    The amount of pots used with each action should also increase the drop rates.

    This single upgrade alone helps all players across the board. Big players have the ability to hit more so they get their size advantage, small players get a healthy few bars to use as well.

    With steal dropping more than assassinate, it also opens up the EB's that the smalls usually hit with FOD. As well as the other annoying EB's out there with steal bars. (Not to forget, it gives an extra plus to stripping.

    With this update.. EB's and EE's should still maintain their respective event drops and you can still make a pvp weekend. But allowing random event drops from each action helps players who play this game just for OSW to be able the grow, do these events, and have fun.

    Also, by doing this, financially, Xstalls will be bought more as it is a per action drop. With the drops happening across the board you don't have to worry about players farming alts when they can just as easily farm an epic battle. You also don't have to worry about bigs farming small ebs like war beast because it is again, per action and they may even go after bigger EB's sense using pots increases the drop rates.

    This adds income into growth while also leaving room for gold loss in strips and potions bought which is a good thing.
     
  2. Support, I like this idea. It's a good way to reward the players who PvP on a regular basis as well as encouraging others to engage in PvP.

    I think it should drop aqua, inferno and mith also. Maybe even rare chances at a seal or horn. Or perhaps 'shards' instead where once you've gotten 59 shards (for example), you get a seal. Using shards could also function for equip. After you've collected so many shards, you can go to the market place and buy equip. Like the mith concept. Except it's generated through PvP rather than an EE war. Also, this equip should exceed eb and event equip in stats.

    Or perhaps it could also generate a one hour PvP plunder. Individually or for a whole clan at different amounts.

    All stuff that has been suggested before obviously. At the very least though, having event items drops seems fair enough IMO.
     
  3. To further promote clan loyalty in pvp events an accumulated CLAN % bonus could be added. It could be in addition to the current winning of created weapon spells and bought spell bonuses. Furthermore att steal assassination and scout % bonuses could all be accumulative bonuses unto their own. Only hitting outside of ones clan would count and can rise n fall hourly dependent upon clan activity levels. Att n Steal bonuses would be more prominent. Higher the activity for PvP clans the better they attain bonuses.

    Clan Bonus meters could be introduced.

    Feel bad for all the players trying to grow though. Taking an unload every day or so is not healthy for someone with over a trillion out.

    Also meant to ask: does Rampart Raider help or harm OSW?

  8. No hte players would support this because it says to all actions meaning if you do ebs you benefit from it aswell
     
  9. How would they get butt hurt. They get the same exact benifits as the pvp players. Please read the complete post.

    Hte players would get added bonus's as well and the proposal includes allowing Epic Battles to keep their reward drops.



    Depends on the player. Honestly OSW is still off system. So any events, styles, or subs really only effects the game if you let it.

    The biggest thing that hurts OSW is the build gap. That and how low max plunder is for bigger players. The current mac plunder set up makes strip farming pretty obsolete when it comes down to it. With how much power your get from lands, static power isn't as valuable as it was when it was just low and high lands. The static still helps a ton, especially in EE. But after about 50 to 200 bill in allies you're back at max plunder and most players have that in reserve.
