Re: PC Enthusiasts some assistance Asking if we even get laid, where do you think you came from you little troll
Is the upgrade to 1060/1070 really worth it if all I want is 60 fps on 1080p? I know the 970 can handle what I want right now but if I can get better now so I don't have to worry about upgrading in the near future I'd consider it. Money is an issue at the moment.
Ok well, the 970 should be able to handle games CURRENTLY at 1080p 60fps. If money is an issue then go with the 970 or maybe even the 960. But 1060 if you want guaranteed performance that will expand beyond big titles coming around this christmas and beyond. Also it's like an extra $50 where I am, so futureproofing. It really is all up to you though. 960/970 if budget 1060 if budget but want a little future proofing 1070/1080 if you want to poop all over the rest of us T_T And like Rikkimaru said... The 1060 is essentially out-performing the GTX 980 (1080p wise)
Here's what I plan on getting: Here's what I currently have: Thoughts? This is a mostly gaming build, and I was even thinking of a 1080 to use my monitor to the full potential, but my budget didn't allow it -_-
If you plan on gaming (clearly you do) it wouldn't hurt to get a decent SSD even if it doesn't have much space. Definitely helps.
Exactly what i was thinking. SLC or MLC with a good controller, 120-240gb would be great. A 480gb would be amazing for that build. And a Western Digital 1TB HDD for storage/games. I'm pretty sure there are 2.5 inch Hybrid HDD drives that would work better than the WD HDD and cost about the same.
Who is this for? Anyway, game over. About to order in. 2tb hdd Crappy keyboard and mouse for now Then later a good gpu AND epic monitor.
Huh? The list I showed earlier was 1432 with CA tax... And had a Msi Gaming X 1070... Ah, oh well, lol
It went to poop, tomorrow I will get my build. Thanks all, keep the pc spirit alive. Post your builds >.>
