Hello fellow forum goers! I'm am making this thread for all those that failed 5th grade English class! Today's Lesson: You're VS Your - What to use, and when! Today's lesson is a short one, like many of them are. It's simple! You're - Same thing as You Are Ex. If you are unable to use correct grammar at the age fifteen or above, you're an idiot. Your - Your is always followed by a noun or gerund Gerund - {Noun} A form that is derived from a verb but that functions as a noun. Ex. Whose jacket is this. Is it yours? Is your car blue, black, or red? That concludes today's lesson, and hopefully you learned something from it! Now you can stop being flamed by internet trolls when you don't use the correct form of "Your!" Previously Done Lessons Next Planned Lessons Affect / Effect Two, Too, or To? Whose VS Who's They're, There, and Their It's and Its Who and Whom Our vs Are The title is a joke btw
Re: Your Dumb Your = possessive adjective. You're = personal pronoun + verb to be. Did I pass?, :? ;-; .
